FeesTuition fees do not have to be paid upfront before you start your course.

If you are studying for your first university-level qualification you can get a loan from the government to cover the cost of your tuition fees whilst you are studying.

You will only start to pay back this student loan after you have left university and you are earning over £21,000 a year

• Covers the full cost of tuition fees, repaid once you have finished studying and earning above the repayment threshold

• Available to UK students, partly on basis of family income
