c. Three Point Bend TestThe bend test is used for brittle materials such as ceramics. Results from a tensile test onthese materials show significant scatter. Often a sample breaks just putting it into the device.Instead, a compressive load is applied at three points on the sample. Perform a compressivebend test on the glass samples available to you in the lab.
