Tibetan Tingsha chimes are traditionally used by Tibetan Buddhists to mark the beginning and end of meditation. Three chimes will vibrate through the room and the cells of your body to achieve a welcoming sense of balance and bliss. At the conclusion three more chimes will ring for awareness and overall well-being.

Salamander Spa presents four signature treatments designed to energize, assimilate, focus and let go through the movement of fluids within the body in order to harmonize, fortify and heal.

These 80-minute, multi-sensory treatments, were specifically formulated by our alchemist to utilize the finest essential oils in combination with a full body wellness experience. Each treatment includes a foot ritual, gentle skin exfoliation, nourishing scalp treatment, facial mask application and restorative massage techniques. We head to the spa to relax, unwind and escape the stresses of everyday life. Our children are living in the same world with the same stresses. Give them the gift of relaxation with a trip to our spa. KIDS under 13 may utilize salon treatments only and must be accompanied by an adult.

Teen’s between the ages of 13 – 17 may enjoy make-up, pedicures, manicures and hair services without the supervision of a parent or guardian.

All under 17 must be supervised by parent or guardian while participating in massages, facials or any one-on-one services; and use of Fitness Center, including fitness classes, personal training and one-on-one fitness sessions.

Spa Reservations

You may schedule your spa appointment any time online at hendersonbeachresort.com or conveniently during operational hours by calling 850.424.4482. We do encourage reservations to assist in securing your preferred date and time. A credit card is necessary to hold a reservation. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment time. Please do not bring jewelry or other valuables to the spa. Salamander Spa does not assume any liability for the loss of personal items.

Late Arrival

Please be aware that late arrival may affect the length of your treatment. Your service will end on time, so the next guest is not delayed.

Cancellations

As a courtesy to other guests, we ask that cancellations and changes be made at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled service to avoid charges. No shows or cancellations made within 24-hours are charged in full.

Special Considerations

If you are pregnant, have any medical conditions or need special assistance, please notify us when making your reservation.

During the Visit

Please refrain from using cell phones and electronic devices in the treatment and relaxation areas. To get the most out of your treatment, we encourage you to communicate with your therapist. Your comfort and enjoyment are most important to us, so let us know if you would like to adjust pressure.

Age Requirement

The minimum age of 18 is required for access to spa treatments and facilities. Pleasereference Kids & Teens page of the menu for other guidelines.

Spa Attire

For your comfort, a robe and slippers will be provided. Please undress to your level of comfort. Undergarments are not necessary but may be worn during the treatment, if you prefer. All staff are professionally trained and licensed to ensure the highest quality of service and integrity. Proper draping techniques are always used to protect your privacy and comfort.

Service Charge

Treatment prices do not include gratuities. For your convenience a 20% service charge will be added to all treatments.

Gift Cards

Our gift cards are redeemable throughout the resort and can be used toward your guest room or suite, spa treatments or dining.
