How It Works The Stream™ airbrush system is easy to use. All you do is plug in the airbrush system into

a power outlet or into our optional portable "Go-Battery" travel pack and turn it on. Then

add a few drops of airbrush cosmetics (foundation, blush, eye shadow, bronzer, etc.) to

the airbrush stylus and apply. It’s that easy!

1. Turn on the air source

2. Add a few drops of makeup to the stylus.

3. Hold the stylus like a pen.

4. Lightly apply your makeup.

COLOR MATCH Finding your true color match with Stream is simple. Airbrush cosmetics are designed to mimic

natural skin and to trick the eyes into seeing it. This is what we call the “Native Effect.” Generally,

your skin has either olive/yellow undertones or warm/ red undertones. Our odd-numbered

foundations are for olive groups, and even-numbered shades are for red undertoned

skin. Stream foundations can also be blended. A combination of multiple shades can also be

used to help balance and enhance effects for the most dead-on color match. Use the diagram

preset industry optimal PSIs to give low speed = 7 PSI (for detailed shadows, blush, contouring,

and concealing), medium speed = 10 PSI (for foundations and highlighters), and high speed = 20

PSI (for body work and tanning application) airflow. Avoiding the fuss of dials saves time and

gives consistent results. The Stream stylus offers constant air flow and a trigger sensitive to one

finger control for release of product volume from the top loading reservoir. The main body cup

ranging from the age of 18 to 71 years for physical or dermatological conditions. All of

Independent Clinical Evaluation of the ophthalmologic safety-in-use of any eye product

applied with an airbrush tests were performed by Board-Certified Ophthalmologist,

Medical Investigators, PhD, DABT, BCFE on our airbrush formulation bases at world class

pharmaceutical grade test facilities. Tests were performed on subjects ranging from

16-69 years of age. Purpose of Study was to evaluate safety-in-use of airbrush product in

and around the eye area. Under the conclusions of a single-blind home-use test

conducted of subjects, airbrush cosmetics were found to be safer for its intended use and

the claims "Ophthalmologist-Tested" and "Safe for Contact lens wearers" are considered

Some Basic Tips About Airbrush Tanning:

Getting ready for an airbrush tan

1. Shower and exfoliate skin a minimum of one hour before tanning. Exfoliation will help remove dead skin cells, which don't tan.

2. Shave and wax at least one hour before tanning. Never Tan if you have broken skin

3. Remove makeup, perfume, lotion, etc., and make sure that your skin is completely dry before tanning.

4. Don’t use moisturizers, body oils, lotions, or perfume for at least four hours before airbrush tanning. Remove before tanning.

5. Wear loose-fitting clothing for at least 30 minutes before tanning so that your skin is not constricted or crushed. (This will eliminate tan lines.)

Post-tanning suggestions

1. Allow 5–30 minutes for the tanning solution to set before dressing. 2. Wait 8–14 hours after your tan before showering, exercising/sweating or coming

into contact with water. 3. Apply moisturizer during the morning and evening after your first shower following

your first tanning session. Allow 8–14 hours for the tanning solution to tan your skin before showering for best results. Moisturize daily thereafter. Hydrated skin is essential in maintaining a longer lasting tan.

Maintenance Tan

1. Tan as often as you like. We recommend that you allow 48 hours between sessions for best results. Your skin needs 6–48 hours to fully deepen.

2. We recommend 1/4 to 1/3 bottle for a typical routine maintenance tan (3–4 full body maintenance tans per bottle). Amount can be adjusted more or less depending on your desired look and body size.

3. Spot tan legs, arms, chest or desired body segments as often as you like. You will soon discover your best results as you vary the quantity of tanning solution used during each application.

Sunbathing and Tanning Beds are not the safest ways to get a tan…

Why take a chance with sunbathing? The sun may be terrible for the skin. Damage from extended exposure to the sun is the #1 cause of premature skin aging. And the sun’s harmful UV rays may cause permanent blemishes and melanoma, a dangerous form of skin cancer. Airbrush tanning is the safe alternative without the negatives associated with traditional sunbathing. Remember: since August Tan™ does not contain sunscreen, your tanned darker skin will still require sun protection.

Even sun tanning beds may produce many of the sun’s unwanted and damaging UV bandwidth tanning rays. Safety should never be compromised for beauty. Why take a chance?

Airbrush Self-Tan Is a Safe, UV Free Alternative to Sunbathing and Beds

Because there is little known about airbrush tanning to the average person, it is easily confused with spray tanning booths or aerosol products . Airbrush tanning uses something called DHA (dihydroxyacetone) which is approved by the FDA for external use. DHA is not a dye and the airbrush application ensures even application of the chemical.

The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) considers DHA-based tanners to be the most effective sunless tanning solution. DHA is derived from glycerin (a type of sugar), reacts with amino acids on the outer most skin cells, causing them to change color and appear tan. The results are temporary and diminish as the skin cells shed and regenerate giving the appearance of a natural tan fade. To keep the tan glow most users apply weekly maintenance, touch-up, airbrushing of the solution to tan the newly generated cells. This allows the tan to last indefinitely.

DHA is not absorbed through the skin into the body, and it has no known toxicity. Today, DHA is used as the primary active ingredient in the August Tan high-end tanning products. Some other self tanners also feature DHA; however, most use a low percentage of DHA because of the high cost of the quality ingredient. August Tan however has the highest percent DHA content approved for use on the market with 7% in their Medium and 12% in their Dark solutions.

Beautiful History While most people have to search far and wide to find successful role models, Pershant

Mehta (fondly called Sean) was right at home with it. Sean was born into a family of

entrepreneurs whose ventures dated back decades. So from a very early age he was

blessed with the exposure to the classic business values in his ongoing informal

apprenticeship.

When he was in high school, Sean went to work with the family business. Not

surprisingly, Sean quickly discovered that he received great pleasure and satisfaction out

of making his customers feel like VIPs. And the longer he worked at the family fashion

business, the more he became interested in learning everything he could about the

products, customers and business. Sean was a very gifted artist and had

fully intended to turn his love for fine arts into his lifelong career. While still in his teens, he

received an offer for a full scholarship to the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New

York. Although he was deeply honored, he declined the offer so that he could continue to

work in the family business and help care for his mother who had cancer. He attended

nearby University of Houston, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing.

As an artist and designer, Sean was intrigued at how a great garment design could

transform normal women into radiant, stunning and confident beings.

He became so satisfied and rewarded with the transformation process; it soon became

one of his creative passions. And by the time he was 20, he was managing essential

merchandising and marketing functions of the multi-million dollar family business, which

had over a dozen locations through Texas & California.


While he was still in college, Sean and his family started a social-occasion dress

company that designed, manufactured and marketed to many thousands of

boutique retailers and top national high-end chain stores and fine department store like

Macy’s® and Bloomingdales®, to name a few across the country.

Combining the fundamentals of sound business with cutting-edge design, the company

was producing garments that soon became the biggest brand in the world of social-

occasion dresses. Sean became one of the preferred designers for dresses worn by the

world’s most beautiful celebrities, and his works were regularly seen at the Oscars® and

other premier award shows.

As his knowledge and success in the women’s apparel industry grew, so did his desire to

expand his horizons into other aspects of the beauty industry. He realized he had a

unique propensity for truly understanding what women wanted in beauty. He also realized

he had a talent for recognizing new trends and combining scattered products and

technologies into practical, complementary systems. Sean, at heart, is extremely creative

and soon he discovered that his creativity reached far beyond garments but also into

inventing consumer products. Sean combined all of those skills in a new business venture

and began experimenting with infomercials as a marketing mechanism. His offerings on

television, HSN® and QVC® drew such an amazing response, he knew he had found a

unique niche of designing, manufacturing and bringing innovative beauty consumer

products to market.

As a result of his creative and commercial success, Sean Mehta has been frequently

recognized and honored for his leadership and achievements in international business

and his generous philanthropy. He was awarded The Young Entrepreneur Award by

IACCGH in 2001 in Houston.

He and his wife have become leading advocates for the arts and humanities in Houston.

Recently the Museum of Fine Arts Houston (MFAH) named the Arts of India wing after

Pershant Mehta and his wife. They are ardent supporters of countless women’s and

children’s causes locally and internationally, and work passionately to create a better

state of humanity for them. Sean also serves on the boards of many national and

international charitable organizations such as UNICEF and has been privileged to

regularly gift major support to over 100 charities including: AIDS Foundation, American

Sean Mehta is a humble and simple person who values the betterment of the human

situation and is on a personal mission to leave this earth a better place than when he

found it. He finds infinite satisfaction in helping others as he believes in the blessings of

those around him have contributed greatly to his amazing and inspiring personal journey.


Beautiful Discovery In the course of being entrenched in the fashion industry, Sean routinely was

engaged in countless photo shoots, runway shows, TV and video productions,

broadcasts, live events and other facets of the beauty business where great

makeup was critical. He saw decades of evolution taking place of how traditional

cosmetics were being used by the top makeup artists. Once upon a time, makeup

artists were applying their art using standard cosmetics and powders. And then in

the early 2000s, he noticed that top makeup artists were experimenting with the

latest cosmetics techniques which included airbrushing on traditional makeup.

Innovative makeup artists were piecing together crude makeup applicators by

using airbrush machines from graphics companies to apply liquefied, homeblended

cosmetics. In addition to being difficult to find, use, and maintain, these

expensive and complicated mechanisms required a lot of time for makeup

application, but the results were pure magic. Digital photography of the models

just came out better with airbrushed makeup. So Sean began to think in terms

of a unified system that could put all the obscure pieces of the puzzle into one

flawless system anyone could use with amazing results. He was on to inventing

the hot new consumer airbrush cosmetics category.

To understand the scope of this task, it might be helpful to draw a familiar analogy. Steve

Jobs, founder of Apple®, didn’t create music, headphones, or portable listening devices.

However, he did conceive of a revolutionary way people could digitally collect, manage,

record and play music in a portable device called the iPod® that changed the music

industry. In a similar manner, Sean realized that if he was going to change the makeup

industry, he would have to invest millions of dollars in research and development,

prototypes, focus groups and patents to create a revolutionary new industry. But he also

knew that if he could create a complete system that was elegant, cost-effective,

dependable and easy to use, his painstaking journey would be well

worth it.

Sean understood this new proprietary cosmetics device would need to apply makeup in

fine microscopic amounts. That meant that he would have to create a complete new

breed of airbrush makeup that would have to complement his innovative airbrush

equipment. Sparing no expense to acquire the very best, he hired Nick Moranti, who was

the head of Research and Development at Esteé Lauder® for over 30 years and the

current President of the Society of Cosmetics Chemists NY, to help develop a truly

transcendent cosmetic line. He also retained various top Academy® and Emmy® award

winning makeup artists from Hollywood and New York City to help him perfect the art of

Luminess Air® cosmetics. With his team’s tireless, collaborative efforts, they were able to

literally reinvent the science, engineering and quality control of liquid makeup right down

to the molecular level. The final product produced an atomized nano-sized controlled mist

that dried within a millisecond of contact with the skin.

Once the new airbrush system was perfected, Sean gave it to the world’s most renowned

makeup artists to test. The results were a resounding success. Never in their collective

history had they seen anything that could produce such remarkable natural looking

better time. The emergence of high definition television—that is so incredibly sharp it

By 2006, Sean was ready to launch his new airbrush system destined to change the way
