SERVICE AND PROCESS

INTRODUCTION

Straumann® CARES® Screw-retained Bridges and Straumann® CARES® Dolder® Bars are now available.

Straumann's commitment is to provide you with high-quality CADCAM restorations from our central manufacturing facility in Arlington, Texas. Simply design your case with the Straumann® CARES® CS2 scanner and Visual software and send to Straumann. Our Technical Support Team will receive your case file and provide you with a pre-paid shipping label to send with your master model to the Arlington facility. Straumann will return your master model with the milled bar or bridge.

Note*The master model must have a large-area removable gingival mask

Use only new implant analogs.

No saw cuts on the master model.

PROCESS

1 Customer casts model*, scans model, designs bar or bridge and fills out the manufacturing form.

2 Customer places order in Straumann® CARES® Visual software and submits design via internet to Straumann.

3 Pick-up service ships the model incl. manufacturing form to Straumann (free of charge).

4 Straumann manufactures bar or bridge according to the design of the master model.

5 Pick-up service delivers bar or bridge and the model to customer after 8–10 workdays (normal shipment costs for the final restoration will apply but no additional costs for the transport of the model).

STEP-BY-STEP DESCRIPTION

1 Design Straumann® CARES® Screw-retained Bridge or Straumann® CARES® Dolder® Bar and fill out the manufacturing form incl. the license/project number (please see separate manufacturing form). The license/project number is located on the top left side in the Straumann® CARES® Visual window when designing the restoration (see on the right, Figure 1 and 2). Please note that each design has its own project number. Therefore, it is important to use the corresponding license/project number.

2 Submit your order electronically to Straumann, as usual.

3 Pick-up service You will be contacted by Straumann Technical Support to coordinate the pick up of your case.

Place your cleaned master model together with the manufacturing form into a padded model box you will receive from Straumann. Every model needs its own manufacturing form.

Pick-up service will provide a transport box (boxes can be used several times) in which the padded model box can be placed (please use filling material to ensure safe shipment).

Pick-up service will ship the model to Straumann (free of charge).

4 Straumann manufactures bar or bridge as per your instructions.

5 Straumann will return your master model with the milled bar or bridge.
