Dennis Davis has been shooting for publication for 31 years. His style is dramatic and clean, withwarm, sunny-looking images. His food is wet, shiny and mouth-watering, inviting the viewer toimagine tasting the beautiful meals. His products look elegant and upscale, with the details clearlydisplayed.

Dennis loves light, and the interplay between light and shadow. He enjoys painting his still liveswith a hard, bold light that imitates the sun, then 6lling and so8ening the shadows with re7ectorsand defused light to bring out the details in the darker areas. Without dark, how can you appreciatethe light?
