Stewart® Raw Naturals diets are cold process pasteurized in a human-grade, USDA inspected and approved facility using High Pressure Processing (HPP). HPP does not damage or destroy the protein (amino acids) of the meat like traditional heat processing.

HPP uses cold water under very high pressure to destroy micro-organisms that cause spoilage and eliminates the need for chemical preservatives. Additionally, this non-thermal pasteurization process inactivates the growth and function of harmful bacteria such as salmonella, listeria and E.coli.

To ensure absolute safety, all of our products are produced following a strict 6 step protocol:

FeedingBy feeding Stewart® Raw Diets you are providing only all-natural ingredients in their purest form. Raw Naturals are not over-processed or cooked, which reduces or eliminates the natural nutrients. Even if your dog looks good now, in 2 to 4 weeks you will see an improvement from transitioning to a raw diet.

When transitioning to a raw diet, start by replacing 1/4 of your pet’s current food with Stewart Raw Naturals and gradually increase the portion over the next 14 days until you have completely eliminated the original diet.

Our convenient patties are ready to serve in pre-measured portions. To serve the Freeze-Dried diets, crumble the patty and feed as is or moisten (recommended) with 4 tablespoons of warm water per patty and wait 3-5 minutes before serving. Remember to always have a bowl of fresh water available for your pet.

Remember to keep raw food separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces, utensils, hands and you pet’s food bowl after each feeding with hot soapy water. Discard uneaten portions within 30 minutes of serving.
