Congratulations to CS Kitchen & Bath Studio on being the “Best of the Best” winner with their basement entry. Next month features bathrooms, so be sure to submit your photo of the best bathroom remodel you have done or been a part of in the past year to the HBAL office no later than March 15, 2012 to be considered as the Best of the Best! So you can get a head start on planning for the rest of the year, below is the list of the “Best of” projects we will be looking for this year. Photos can be submitted to [email protected] or drop them by the HBAL office and we will scan a copy of them. Recognition will include a picture of the project along with your company name in the Step by Step publication and a spot on the HBAL website for one month. These items brought many smiles as students realized they would have warm hands and heads! Thank you! Deb Dabbert The February Home and Garden Show was another great success! The Remodelers Council was able to collect 4,689 pounds of food this year for the Food Bank of Lincoln. 2012 marked the 10th year of the Remodelers Council Food Bank House. In total we have donated 50,585 pounds of food. Thank you to ever yone who volunteered time to setup, represent at the Food Bank House and then tear down. It’s a lot of work but worth it all to bring food to families in need. It was exciting to see the number of consumers who attended the Home Show and who were very interested in starting remodeling projects. It can give ever yone hope for a busy and profitable spring and summer! Thank you to ever yone who attended the After Hours social event at the Ferguson showroom. The Ferguson team enjoyed hosting and networking with guests. The next meeting will be March 7 held at Granite Transformations located at 70th & Pioneers. Granite Transformations recently opened a new showroom and they are excited for ever yone to tour and learn about the products and ser vices they offer. Plan to attend the April 4 meeting where we will have an attorney from The Hoppe Law Firm answer questions about the EPA Lead Paint Rule. Please send your questions in advance to [email protected].
