SUNDAY DONATIONS: During this time when the col-lection basket would not be passing around the church during Mass you can place your Sunday dona-tions in the square box in the church or mail them to the church office: St Mary Church PO Box 118 Siloam Springs, AR 72761. Be mindful that while many of us cannot at-tend Mass at this time, we can still save and mail our offertory gift to our parish or bring it with us when we are able to return, to continue the mission of our Church.

As we resume our public Masses at phase 1 of the COVID-19 pandemic we must ob-serve certain guidelines. Therefore, in order to serve our community better and work with the best logistic possible, we would like for you to call the parish office 479-524-8526 if you are planning to participate at any of our Masses. At this point we can only make use of 14 pews. Our dispensation for Sunday Mass is still being granted by our Bishop indefinitely. If we runout of our lim-ited space due to required 6 ’physical dis-tancing, you may try to attend some of our weekday Masses as an option. Please make sure to revise some of the guidelines for attending Mass, such as wearing a mask to cover your mouth and nose, sanitizing your hands as you come in, avoid attendance if you do not feel well or have been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19, etc. Upon your arri-val our ushers will take you to your seat. So please follow their instructions. Thanks for your understanding during these challeng-ing times.

SEARCH # 148 RETREAT Registrations are now being accepted for Search #148, a retreat to help juniors and seniors in high school get to know themselves better, deepen their friendship with Christ, and find support in living out their faith. Search #148 will be held at St. John Center, Little Rock, over the dates of July 17-19, 2020. Due to Covid-19 -- space will be limited to 30 registrants and all covid-19 guidelines set by the Bishop will be followed (wearing of masks, distancing, etc.) The fee is $135.00. Now that we are having Mass in the church, we are following all the safety precautions from Bishop Anthony Taylor. Phase I Restrictions: • Come to Mass wearing masks: All Partici-pants, including children over 10 years of age, must wear masks or other covering of their mouth and nose. • If you signed up to come to Come to church early: We can only provide seats for 25% of the church capacity. • Do not give the sign of peace by hand. • Holy Communion will be one specie only; there will not be the Blood of Christ. • Holy Communion will not be distributed on the tongue. • There won’t be blessings for those who don’t receive Holy Communion: If you can’t receive Holy Communion, please do not go in the line to the altar. • Respect the 6ft. distance. • Please listen and respect the directions and guidelines from the ushers: The ushers have been trained by Father Salvador with all the requirements from the Diocese of Little Rock. • If you are sick, or you don’t feel well, or you think that you were close to someone that was positive with COVID-19, please stay home.

The Sunday Mass obligation remains sus-pended indefinitely for all people, not only for those who cannot attend due to a parish’s crowd-reduction measures. Even so, all people remain obligated to “keep on-ly the Lord’s Day”, which they can do in any of a large variety of ways, including the fol-lowing: • Sunday participation in Mass can be live streamed, or with TV-active participation, not just passive viewing. • Attending weekday Mass in lieu of Sun-day when Sunday Mass in unavailable. • Private prayer for an hour- which is the amount of time you would have spent at Mass, mediating on Scripture readings for the Sunday Mass, praying the Rosary, the Liturgy of the Hours, novena prayers, etc.

Drivers Needed for OCA Ozark Catholic Academy High School in Tontitown is looking for part-time drivers for both school vans and a bus during the school year. Bus driver would need a CDL license. Recently, another round of SCAM E-MAILS has gone out impersonating Bishop Taylor. These scam emails use a fake “gmail” account and even include a picture of him. One of these is particularly insidious, since it references a priest being diagnosed with COVID-19 (which is false), in an attempt to scare the recipient into thinking that Bishop Taylor needs immedi-ate financial help. It should go without saying that Bishop Taylor will NEVER contact any-one personally asking for gift cards, mon-ey, or other financial assistance. Please do not respond to any such emails; delete them immediately.

Pentecost Sunday You can feel so small standing by the sea-shore. The vastness of all that is before you expands much farther than your eye can see. What is happening on the other side? As tides continue to ebb and flow, what occurs as they come and go remains largely a mystery and the effects of their presence unknown in your sight. Yet, things are moving and chang-ing as you gaze upon the water, as the thumbprint of their presence is left behind. The greater the wind and wave, the greater the effect. But even a gentle breeze leaves its humble mark upon the seashore on which you stand. The smallest pebble still makes a ripple in the great blue expanse of ocean waters. It doesn’t need to be big. You never know the full impact of your smallest gesture or simplest of words. A yes or no, agree or disagree, here or there, this or that can influence time and history in ways you may never know. The Holy Spirit is like that: fierce and torrential, and then almost still and silent, creating and recreating nonethe-less. Coming as a gentle breeze or a gusty wind, God’s Holy Spirit continues to move over, around, and into the waters of our lives. The Spirit brings fruit and unknown possibilities to what we humbly bring with us and that same Spirit eventually brings all to fulfillment in Christ. The first disciples didn’t have much. They possessed simple faith and a willingness to go into unchartered territory with a love of their friend-God, humble offerings, and a knowledge that they were not alone. This al-lowed them to do amazing things with very little. Do you believe that you are being led and that you have a purposeful life? We of-ten do not realize our value because we do not think that the little we have is good enough. How wrong we are! A little flour mixed with water and embraced by a prayer of blessing transforms simple offerings into the magnificent Eucharistic presence of God. If the Holy Spirit can do such amazing things with these humble gifts of the earth, even more can happen with you. Don’t underesti-mate the value of the smile you gave a stranger, the door held open for an elderly widow, the listening ear offered to one who was lonely, the tolerance given to the wounded soul who is angry, and the loving shoulder you offered as a cradle under the head of someone in pain. Modest gifts of-fered with love can be transformed by the

Spirit into won-drous blessings you may never know. It’s Pente-cost. Trust. You are not alone.
