Qn:I understand there was a reduction in examinable syllabus last year, would the girls be able to catch up on all topics in time for the prelims this year?

Ans:

- Home based Learning and Student Learning Space Packages

- Curriculum Recovery:

- 2 weeks after the end-of-year examinations in 2020,

- All departments have reviewed their schemes of work to ensure that all the content and skills required for the subjects will be learnt /prepared for by preliminary examinations.

- MOE/CPDD/SEAB- For now, there is no reduction in examinable curriculum content for

students taking the national exams in 2021.

Is the school factoring in the Sec 4 on the PDLP program or are they left out of it?

Ans:

The Sec 1-3 (2021) cohorts are in the PDLP programme and the roll out plan for the procurement will begin in Term 2. The students are likely to obtain the devices in Term 3 2021.

Ministry is moving to blended learning in Semester 2, the Sec 4 students are on their final term to complete the syllabus so will they be going on blended learning as well?

Ans:

- Readiness for Remote Emergency Learning, learning from home (HBL) at any time.

- Some lessons are already designed with some levels of ‘blend’ of online and face to face instruction

- No specific plans for Sec 4 to be in a structured Blended Learning Programme
