Dear Friends in Christ,
As you can see below, I have served at Infant Jesus Parish for six years and per diocesan policy, I am
to be reviewed as your pastor. Know that I am very happy serving as the pastor of Infant Jesus
Parish and have not requested to move, but I am open to your critique of my ministry. Please read the letter for
instructions on how you can evaluate my performance as your pastor. These six years have gone very quickly and the
Lord has blessed our parish in so many ways. I have learned so much from you about the Lord. As the second letter of
Saint Paul to the Corinthians reminds us “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power
may be of God, and not of us.” Any good that I have done is to the glory of God. I trust the Holy Spirit and our
Bishop’s wisdom in knowing what is best for our parish. May your new year continue to unfold in a graced and holy
way.
God bless you,
Father Szolack

Family Prayer Crucifix for Vocations Each week we will see a family receive a Crucifix to take home for the week to pray for vocations to the
Holy Priesthood and Religious Life. It is contained in a beautiful handcrafted box which also serves as a
stand for the Crucifix. Prayers to be used by the host family are on a laminated program in the box. Every
weekend the host family will return the Crucifix in procession. A new host family will receive it at the end of Mass.
Let us pray for holy vocations to religious life from our parish. If you are praying over a possible calling, please
speak to Father Szolack.
Please contact Mrs. Denise Dietrich 215-901-3199 if you would like your family to receive the crucifix at St. John
Vianney Church. Thank you.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!
God bless our men and women who
put their lives on the line to preserve freedom around
the world. We thank God for our good fortune to be
citizens of the USA. We continue to pray for our men
and women overseas especially, Ryan Berthold, Justin
Gousha, Shawn Jarrell, Becky & Nick Johnson, Brian
Schwartz, Brian Simmons, Rob Solome, Sarah Turse,
and Charity Winkler. If someone has returned home,
we ask that you let us know. Lord, hold our troops
in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they
perform in our time of need. We ask this in Jesus’
name.
Amen
Thank you for your generous contributions to the House
of Charity. We DID reach our goal!! Unfortunately, we
did not collect our goal by December 31st in order to get
the 10% back to the parish. However, we have a second
chance!!! Please continue making your payments to the
House of Charity and if you have not yet started to pay
toward your pledge do so now! If all money pledged is
collected by March 31, 2016, we will get 10% back on
our goal and 75% back on anything over our goal.
Thank you in advance for your commitment to those
who are helped by the House of Charity.

ST. MARGARET REGIONAL SCHOOL
CLASSROOM HIGHLIGHT
Mrs. Christine Servus– Fifth Grade
Mrs. Servus has taught at St. Margaret Regional School for 22 years. She especially enjoys teaching social
studies to both fifth grade classes. Her students are currently learning about the five regions of the United States. Using
iPads and textbooks, students work in pairs to research a given state within one of the five regions. She instructs the
students to gather various facts about their state including statehood, climate, land forms, plant and animal life, tourist
attractions and economy. Mrs Servus explained, “Not only do the students have an opportunity to learn about our great
country but they also learn the value of teamwork and the spirit of co-operation.” During the month of January, Mrs.
Servus continues to teach her students about the seven sacraments. In preparation for the Catholic Schools Week
Religion Fair, each student creates a booklet with detailed information about one sacrament. The students include
explanation of the sacrament's the proper form, applicable terminology and type of sacrament. Please keep Mrs. Servus
and her fifth grade student in your prayers this week.
St. Vincent DePaul - A heartfelt thank
you to all of our parishioners that par-
ticipated in any way in our effort to
provide Christmas for our less fortu-
nate neighbors. Whether you pur-
chased a gift for a child on our giving
tree, donated food for a Christmas dinner for a family
in need, volunteered your time to assemble or deliver
the food baskets and gifts or said a prayer asking
God's blessing, your were an integral part of spread-
ing Christmas spirit and joy to those among us that
need it the most. Through your kindness and generos-
ity we were able to distribute food baskets to 146 fam-
ilies and over 1000 gifts to children who otherwise
may not have had a Christmas at all. On behalf of the
St. Vincent DePaul Society and all of our clients
thank you and may God bless you and look kindly
upon you and your family in 2016. Have a happy,
healthy and blessed New Year!
