The Installation Mass for Bishop Peter Baldacchino will take place at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 23. Seating will be very limited for the Mass. MAGNIFICAT MEAL Magnificat-A ministry to Catholic Women is having their quarter-ly breakfast on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at NM Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum, 4100 Dripping Springs Road. Guest speaker will be Melissa Cavaliere. Tickets are $14.50 each and are available in the parish office through July 18. Since the day is designed to speak to the hearts of women, free of distractions, it is respectfully requested that young children not be in attendance.

Fiesta Chairpersons, Volunteers & Donations Needed In assessing the needs for our upcoming fiesta, scheduled for Sep-tember 7 & 8, 2019, the Fiesta Committee is asking for a Gordita Booth Coordinator and Volunteer Chairpersons for a couple of booths as well as volunteers to work in the various booths. Please call the parish office if you are able to give a few of your hours that weekend to help. Donations of soft drinks and new kitchen items such as utensils, pot holders, etc. are also needed for prizes for our Loteria Game Booth.

St. Genevieve Historical Society Needs Pictures of You! St. Genevieve Historical Society is asking all parishioners for pic-tures of any and all activities involving St. Genevieve Church, past and present. All photographs will be returned (Baptisms, Confirmation, First Communion, Weddings, Fiestas, etc. and indi-vidual or family pictures of parishioners requested). Please bring pictures to the parish office during regular business hours. Thank you for your help with this special project.

DIOCESAN CATECHETICAL CONGRESS Saturday, July 27

Holy Cross Parish and Las Cruces Catholic School 9:00 AM-4:30 PM

This Congress is for all who are involved in faith formation: direc-tors of religious education, elementary catechists, youth confirma-tion coordinators and catechists, adult confirmation and RCIA catechists, marriage preparation and baptism preparation teams, and youth ministry teams. The cost is $10 per person which in-cludes lunch. The keynote speaker is Dr. Robert McCarty, a pasto-ral ministry consultant and trainer and who serves as the project coordinator for the Saint Mary’s Press research project, Going, Going, Gone: The Dynamics of Disaffiliation in Young Catholics. Registration is available on the diocesan website at www.rcdlc.org. Deadline to pre-register is July 19.

& King/Queen Contest Fundraiser

• Entry Fee $10 (*Please register in the parish office by Au-gust 1)

• Three Age Categories-Jr. Prince/Jr. Princess Ages 5-9; Prince/Princess Ages 10-14; King/Queen Ages 15-18.

This will be a fundraiser for our UIM/Projects 2019. Each contestant will receive 50 sponsor tickets and will have the option to sell tickets after one reserved Mass time. Monies must be returned upon selling the book. The deadline to turn in funds raised will be at noon on Friday, September 6th. We will have a “Last Chance Dollar Dance” on Saturday, Sep-tember 7th at the Fiesta where contestants will have an op-portunity to participate to raise last chance funds. Winners of the contest will be announced Sunday, September 8th. *Registration form with complete contest rules is available in the parish office.

Saint Genevieve Knight of Columbus Thank You! The Saint Genevieve Knights of Columbus would like to thank everyone who supported this year’s 2019 State Charity Raffle. With your support a donation of $2,017.50 was presented to our Saint Genevieve Saint Vincent de Paul. Also, our council sold the most tickets statewide and were awarded $1000.00 to support our Church, Community and Youth Programs for the upcoming year. Unfortunately, there were no winners from our Parish but the big winner was our Saint Vincent de Paul Ministry!
