SSK Tarun Sangh President Shri Kishan I Meharwade, Vice President Shri Gopal Nakod, Secretary Shri Sudhir R Katigar, Joint Secretary Mithun A Bhandage, Treasurer Shri Gangadhar Habib, Shri Vishwanath Solanki, Shri Prakash Bhandage, Shri Ashok Bevinkatti, Shri Shyam Bhandage, Shri Vinayak Khatwate, Shri Chandan Bevinkatti, Shri Sanju Khatwate, Shri Kiran Katigar and many others too the responsibility of this Ganesh Idol. Gadag: SSK Tarun Sangh Gajanan Utsav Samiti conducted many competitions on account of Ganesh Chaturthi. For women they conducted Rangoli, Healthy baby competition for below 2 years baby and Hairstyle competition. Smt Shivleela Akki President of Gadag Betageri Municipality was the chief guest for this competition and Smt Ashwini Jagatap also participated. Sangh President Shri Kishan Meharwade, Vice president Shri Gopal S Nakod, Secretary Sudhir R Katigar, Joint Secretary Shri Mithun A Bhandage, Shri Gangadhar Habib, Shri Anil Katwate, Shri Murali N Habib, Shri Maadhusa V Badi, Shri Ragvendra R Bhandage, Shri Mohan Pawar, Shri Ashok Bevinkatti, Shri Vishwanath Solanki, and all the members of the Gajanan utsav were present Gadag: The SSK Tarun Sangh and Shri Gajanan Utsav Samiti organised Cricket Tournament on 11th September, 2016., on Sunday morning at 8:00 am which was named as SSK Premier League on the eve of Shri Gajanan Utsav at Vidyadhan Samiti High School playground at Gadag. The tournament was inaugurated by the chief guest Shri Sanjay K Shindgeri member Gadag-Betageri Municipality and Shri Santosh P Mutgar owner of Nakshatra computers presided over the tournament. Shri Santosh gave his opinion that any sports we play we should always play with good hearts as participation is more important than winning or losing, he wished all good luck to all the teams and the cricket game commenced. Moreover, the winners are, Durga Devi Cricket club gangapur peth won the first cash prize of Rs. 5001 and the Dasar oni cricket club second cash prize of Rs. 2501. It was conducted for both men and women from 13th to 14th September, 2016 and 16th to 19th September, 2016. Recently organised chess champion at Chitradurga the Belagavi VTU’s Inter Zone women intelligence Sports was conducted in the city KLE’s Technical College Students Jennis P Anil, Sanjana Kabadi, Shristi Bhat, Vani Indralli, and Divya Adur entered the championship zone. The Administrative committee and the staff members congratulated the champions, College Principal Dr. Basavaraj Anami, Academic Deen Dr. R. R. Burbure, Gymkhana Chairman Prof Vinod, Shri S. D. Nagraj Shetty , and the Physical Educatuon Prof. Kiran Doddmani wished the students more success in the coming days and congratulated these champions for their achievements. Gadag - The Dasar oni Gajanan Samiti conducts various programs on the eve of Ganesh Chaturti in full support from their President Shri Dattusa Ishwarasa Bhandage, Vice President Shri Shivu Habib, Cultural President Shri Guru Laxman Habib, Secretary Shri Yogesh Jituri, Joint secretary Shri Shantveerayya Hiremath and many others. On the 5th September, 2016., on account of Ganesh chaturti they carried a huge procession to bring the idol of Lord Ganesha. Soon after the procession, they installed the idol of Ganesh and thereafter they conducted many different competitions for the women and children of the area. For Women they conducted the Rangoli competition and for children they conducted Fancy dress and Dance competition. On 13th September, 2016., meals was arranged for all the people of the area the elder of samaj Shri Muralidharsa Kalburgi started the meals after the maha puja. On this occasion the area Municipality President Shri, Shrinivas Bhandage, and the area elders Shri Motilalsa Raibagi, Shri Parshuram Habib, Shri Jaganath Bhandage, Shri Raj_____ Kalburgi, Shri Ishwarsa Bhandage, Shri Laxmansa Habib, Shri Meghraj Bhandage, Shri Basavaraj Pujar, Shri Venkatesh Katigar, Shri Ganapatsa jituri, Shri Shankar A Siddling, Shri Ambu Pawar Shri Santosh Bhandage, Shri Raju Bhandage other elders and youths were present. After this auction program started and before that the prizes were distributed to the winners who participated in various events. The chief guest for this function was Shri Ramu____ Panchalak. Shri Raju Khanapur was felicitated on this occasion for his service and for the Mahadayee issue. The president of this function was area’s elder personality Shri Muralidharsa Kalburgi. Shri Prakash R Bakale on behalf of the Shantabai memorial trust was felicitated for the year 2016. Shri Srinivas Bhandage, Shri Jagnath Bhandage, Shri Motilalsa Raibagi were present. After this the visarjan program took place all the active and energetic youth and elders participated with lot of devotion for the visarjan of lord Ganesh with a procession. The visarjan ended peacefully with full enthusiasm and support of the elders and the youth.
