DATE : 05 - 10 - 2016 SSK TIMES ENGLISH MONTHLY. GADAG 4 P MEET TWO SWIMMING CHAMPIONS’ MOTHER AND DAUGHTER. SMITA KATWE & SAMRUDDHI KATWE WON GOLD MEDAL IN SWIMMING Aurangabad – Ku.Samruddhi katwe daughter of Shri. Rajan katwe and Smt. Smita R. Katwe, participated in swimming competition at “Campus club Lokmat’’ Aurangabad and won the gold medal in swimming. She has continued the trend (parampara) of her mother Smita Rajan Katwe who is also a popular swimmer. Smita Rajan is from Amravati (Maharashtra), she is the first female swimmer to enter in India book of records for completing the longest swimming Marathon in August, 2014. She swam continuously for 12 hours from morning 7 am to evening 7 pm at MGM Aurangabad on 15th August, 2014. Smita Rajan Katwe has won many gold, silver and bronze medals in many state, national and international games. She had enrolled her name for the Limca book of records in January 2016 and recently her name has entered in the Limca book of records. She also swam in sea earlier from Dharamtar to Gateway of India, in Mumbai and uran to Gateway of India. Beside National swimmer, she is also water polo player. Smita’s daughter Samruddhi is trying to maintain her mother’s record by participating and winning awards in the swimming competition. Samruddhi has won gold medal in 50 and 100 meters freestyle, 50 meters Breaststroke gold, silver medal in 50 meters backstroke. Parents feel proud when they see their children carrying their parampara (trend) with all their efforts. Samruddhi is the best example for the youngsters to be motivated and take their parents name to great heights. Smt. Smita. Rajan. Katwe Won four gold medal in Master state level swimming competition in pune, ie 50,100 mtrs butterfly,50 mtrs Breaststroke,200 met individual medley held in Maharashtra state, the competition was organized by Maharashtra state armature aquatic championship pune on dated 2,3 October – 2016. And she had selected for National Master competition ie will be held in Hyderabad 21,22, 23 October – 2016. SSK TIMES wishes a great success for National Master competition. Ku. Samruddhi. Rajan Katwe has won gold medal in 50 and 100 meters freestyle, 50 meters Breaststroke gold, silver medal in 50 meters backstroke. GANESH PUJA AND VISARJAN BY THE SHRI GANESH PUJA MANDAL SOLAPUR. In Solapur Ganesh Puja was performed by installing the Ganesh idol on the 5th September, 2016., by SSK samaj Shri Ganesh Puja Mandal at the Samaj’s Vittal temple. After installing, they welcomed Ganeshji by performing puja. All these eleven days they invited people from various sectors and offered pujapaat . This year the committee offered a 6 kgs Silver crown to the Lord Ganeshji’s idol. From 5th to 15th September, 2016 everyday without fail puja was offered. A day before Visarjan that is on 11 September they arranged for meals for all the people altogether 1000 people came forward to receive the prasad of Ganeshji. On 15th September, 2016 at the time of Visarjan all the samja brothers, sisters and along with Bal Gopal participated to carry out the visarjan program. All the samaj people had selected a dress code for the Visarjan Program they wore white Nehru kurta pyjama with Bhagwa Modi Jacket the procession was carried by playing leszim and drums. The Visarjan Procession started at 1 pm in the afternoon from the Vittal temple and completed the Visarjan by 12:00 o’clock at midnight. The Ganesh Puja Mandal’s President Shri Praveen Heeralalsa Bidari, Shri Santosh Vasantsa Rangrej, Shri Prashant Ramakrishnansa Habib, Shri Chandan Ganapathsa Mirajkar, Shri Tukaram Mohansa Pawar and all the members were present. Secunderabad - The SSK Samaj Ramgopal peth Secunderabad conducted meeting on 21st August, 2016. which took place is Manners Palace. All the members participated in the meeting the president Shri Margeshri Shravan Kumar, Vice president Shri Gorak Yadgiri, Secretary smt. Ashaji Surya prakash, and joint secretary Shri Jitturi Shrinivas, treasurer Shri Gujrati Rajeshwar and others were present. In the meeting Shri Gujarati Rajeshwar submitted the account and Balance sheet of three years which was approved by everyone peacefully. On the 23rd October, 2016., elections for a new body of members will be conducted. The process is on going for the formation of new body members. SECUNDERABAD SSK SAMAJ’S PROGRESS.
