Tykes On BikesWho wants to learn how to ride a bicycle, without worrying about falling? Does pedaling defi ne riding? Downhill mountain bikers don’t pedal, road bike riders descending a back road don’t pedal, BMX riders in a halfpipe don’t pedal, and motorcyclists don’t pedal. They are all riding. What do they all have in common? The ability to balance on two wheels, and lean through turns regardless of what put them in motion. For children, walking and running are motions that come natural. The simplicity of Strider bikes allows children to concentrate on the fundamental skills of balancing, leaning, and steering while propelling the bike in a natural way. “9 to 5” At Riverside CenterPushed to the boiling point at their workplace, three female co-workers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. In an ingenious conspiracy to gain control of the company, the girls discover that there’s nothing that they can’t do – even in a late 1970s man’s world. Adapted from the hit movie with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, this outrageous, thought-provoking, and lightly romantic mixture of friendship and revenge in the “Rolodex era” provides a glimpse into taking care of business with a not-so-soft feminine touch. We are pleased to have the return of TV and fi lm star Sally Struthers to enhance a stellar cast belting out songs varying from the hilarious to the downright suggestive. Price includes dinner, show and gratuity. PLEASE NOTE: We will pick up at 8:30am at the Mt. Jackson Food Lion with stops northward and return to Strasburg at 5:45pm. Deadline toregister is March 5. canceled or modified if there is insufficient registration. All programs require a high level of coordination, often including facility scheduling, staffing, volunteer recruitment and purchasing of supplies.
