IS ANYBODY LISTENING ?Recruitment rules violated

This refers to violation of recruit-ment rules while recruiting

chowkidars in J&K Muslim Wakf board. We had applied for these posts in May 2017. As per advertisement notice total number of posts were six and minimum qualification was Matric pass. The total applications received for these posts were thirteen. But only eleven candidates appeared in the interview on 6th July 2017.Among these eleven candidates three are under Matric and two possessed higher qualification i.e MA, BA as per Govt SRO 99 of 2008, the higher quali-fication for class-IV posts are mini-mum Matric & maximum 10+2.But the Muslim Wakf board has selected under Matric candidates for these posts in violation of recruitment rules for class IV posts. We request the concerned Vice-Chairman of the board and Min-ister of Hajh and Aquaf to look into the matter do justice with deserving candidates.

Cricketers appeal JKCCC The JKCC (Jammu and Kashmir

Cricket Council) cricket tourna-ment is going on in Handwara. But the authorities are cheating the nonlocal teams, as they want their own Hand-wara team to be in final. The JKCC has done a fabulous job by organising tournament like this but its unfortu-nate that the sports is also becoming a victim of corruption . We hope the JKCC will intervene and will discuss the issue with Handwara Cricket authorities.

Colony, Hyderpora, bye pass have been facing acute water short-age from the past 15 days our area. We have to walk over one kilome-ter to fetch drinking water. At the same time people who are getting the water misuse it without caring for others. We request the concerned officials to visit the area to assess the ground

reality. Our humble request to Super-intending Engineer PHE is to check how many consumers have water sumps and how many don’t have any substitute water reservoir. We think the main factor responsible for water shortage is that people connect elec-trical motors directly with the water taps which leads to water not reaching other people.
