flight using a range of materials from paper aeroplanes, gravity,

force motion rockets and archery.

Archery is with arrows and target. The

children MUST be wearing long sleeve

shirts & fully enclosed shoes – sneakers /

runners to participate.

Factory. They will get to experience

the boat & train rides, learn about

bee’s and adventure down the

Whilst the SNRs are away the JNRs come out to play!!! The JNRs will be

writing our program for the day with a vote in the morning on what

activities will be run.

Every day children are required to bring morning tea, lunch, water bottle, wide brim hat and sunscreen.

WEEK ONE

Monday 20th Sept INCURSION: ROCK WALL & BUNGEE TRAMPOLINES

Cost: $17.00 Today we will have the fella’s come out with the huge rock wall & bungee trampolines. The children can race each other up the rock wall to hit the buzzer or be like flying spiders in the bungee trampoline. We will be making choc crackles and watching The Wild Thornberry’s (G) after lunch.

Tuesday 21st Sept Day of Flight

Today we will be learning about the power of flight using various scientific approaches to understand and create flight. The children will be able to [participate in archery, however Children MUST be wearing long sleeves and fully enclosed shoes to participate in this activity. There will be a paper plane building comp with various challenges. We will be cooking pork dumplings and watching Paper Planes (G) after lunch.

Special Note: Children MUST have an ICE BRICK inside their lunch box to ensure their food stays cool whilst out on our excursion. We ask that NO yoghurt, jelly or heat up foods on this day. Friday 24th Sept DR SEUSS THEME DAY - DRESS UP DAY The children are encouraged to come dressed up as a Dr Seuss character

for the day. We will be travelling through the books of Dr Seuss in theme filled activities of crafts, challenges and games to suit the World of Seuss. The children will be cooking Nachos and we will be watching Horton Hears A Who (G)

WEEK TWO

Every day children are required to bring morning tea, lunch, water

bottle, wide brim hat and sunscreen.

Monday 27th Sept Pirates Day

Today we will be theming our activities around PIRATES!!! The children will be creating maps, pirate playdough, making hooks & swords out of cardboard. We will be cooking gold coin cookies and watching Peter Pan (G) after lunch.

Tuesday 28th Sept Junior EXCURSION (Years Prep to 2): BOS BABY: FAMILY BUSINESS

The children are encouraged to select a colour from the Olympic Rings and come dressed in that colour. We will be watching Little Giants (G) and cooking Hot Dogs due to America winning this year’s Olympics.

Wednesday 29th Sept INCURSION: CARTOON WORKSHOP Cost: $17.00 Today we will have Phil come out to the service and teach the children how

to draw and create cute & crazy cartoon characters and pets. We will be cooking chicken fingers & sweet potato chips and watching 101 Dalmatians (G) after lunch.

Thursday 30th Sept Senior EXCURSION (Years 3 to 6): UNDERSEA PUTT & PLAY Cost: $27.00 Venue: Undersea Putt & Play Redcliffe

Friday 1st Oct EDUCATORS IMPERSONATOR DAY

Today the children are encouraged to dress up as an OSHC educator with a prize for best dressed!!! Can the educators guess who is dressed as whom? Can you? The activities for the day will be themed around children vs educators, crafts and challenges involving the children getting to know the educators. We will be making name tag biscuits and watching Spy Kids (PG) after lunch.

TERMS OF AGREEMENT

Hours of Operation: 6.45am – 6.15pm Monday – Friday (Late Fee- after 6.15pm: $25.00 per family per 15 minutes or part thereof)

Parents / Guardians: Should you have any queries / concerns about the planned activities included in the program, please feel free to speak to the friendly OSHC staff. Please read the Terms of Agreement before completing the Parent Declaration and Booking Form.

Fees Policy

Fees are payable by cash, EFTPOS or Direct Credit. One week payment in advance is required on the first day of attendance of each week that your child/ren

will be attending.

Daily Fee: $45.00 per child, plus any extra costs as indicated on the VC Program. .

FULL FEES will apply until the service receives ALL relevant information regarding parent, child and confirmation of booking and CCS Rebate.

CCS is available to all eligible families that are registered with Department of Human Services.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations for VAC care – two full BUSINESS days’ notice is required. (COB – close of business)

• Cancellation policy comes into effect the Wednesday before Vacation Care commences.

Travel: Bus (Approx. 60`mins. each way) Depart Time: 9:15 am – Children must be at the service by 8:45 am

Return Time: 2:30 pm Ratio children to educators: 10: 1 plus additional 1 float educator.

Activity: The children will travel by bus to Undersea Putt & Play in Redcliff where we will accept the challenge of 18 holes under the sea in a mini golf course and arcade game play. We will be eating lunch at the venue.

Special Note: Children MUST have an ICE BRICK inside their lunch box to ensure their food stays cool whilst out on our excursion. We ask that NO yoghurt, jelly or heat up foods on this day. NO glass items. All children must have closed in shoes, wide brim hat and water bottle. Children are responsible for their own belongings.

I understand that my child/ren will be travelling on a seat belted bus, accompanied by the correct staff/child ratios. I understand that whilst on the excursion, my child/ren will be able to participate in the activities as outlined above.
