Date Friday, March 4 to Sunday, March 6, 2011

Location All events, with the exception of the social event, will be taking placewithin the University of Waterloo campus. Details as to which specificbuildings will be announced closer to the date of the conference.

Dress code It is expected that competitors dress in appropriate business attireduring all events, aside from the social events to be held on Friday andSaturday evening. Further details regarding the social events will bemade available closer to the date.

Accommodations All delegates are welcome to stay at the Waterloo Inn ConferenceHotel, located a short five-minute drive away from the Universitycampus. The accommodation fee is included in the invitational fee andwill be further discussed in the registration package. Delegates fromeach respective chapter should make personal roommatearrangements to avoid roommate assignments.

CBET CompetitionThe CBET competition is a unique and exciting event held annually at the UWDECA Spring Invitational,sponsored by the Centre for Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology. Due to its popularity at pastconferences, we will be bringing this event back this year for the third time.

The event consists of three rounds and delegates will be put in teams of four. In this intensivecompetition, delegates will be tested on their ability to think on the spot and pitch ideas to a panel of

judges. Unlike traditional DECA events, teams are eliminated after each round until the winning team isdecided.

Please sign up and indicate your preferences in the online registration form.

Networking SessionThe afternoon networking session will give delegates the opportunity to network with a wide range oflocal businesses and national companies. Be sure to bring business cards, and stay tuned for more

details!
