• Coming across an interesting study of general digital trends, from Webbmedia, Denise presented the list in a new order, relevant to healthcare and found that almost all the general trends had an echo in healthcare.

• For example, the expansion of the digital market by baby boomers; user-generated content and platforms; advertorial content; issues of privacy confidentiality and leaking; the pervasiveness of data, screens, and video; and of course wearables, sensors, 3d printing…

• Michael Seres, e-patient, gives his point of view and shares his experience as a patient. “Yesterday I was with NHS, and we talked about digital, and they told me, for them, advancing on the next trend would be to go on Facebook”.
