Linden’s 7 Rules for Writing Just About Anything
1) Just start.
2) If you’re working on a big project, organize your material into piles, then sort.
3) Create an outline.
4) Opt for action verbs instead of “to be” or “to have.”
5) Avoid passive sentences in favor of active ones.
6) Avoid qualifiers. State your position as fact.
7) Cut the fat.
