The 82nd Annual Scientific Meeting of The College on Problems of Drug Dependence Inc. (CPDD) will be held June 20‐
24, 2020 at the Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, FL. We would be delighted to confirm your participation and
invite you to complete the enclosed Exhibit Space Application.
CPDD provides a national and international forum for scientists of diverse backgrounds to advance the understanding
of molecular‐neurobiological aspects of addictive disorders and, by the application of new scientific knowledge, to
improve and develop treatments utilizing novel behavioral and pharmacological therapies.
Since 1938, a major focus of the CPDD’s activities has been its sponsorship of an annual scientific meeting. This
conference serves as a forum bringing together basic scientists and clinical investigators from industry, academia, and
government. Representatives of regulatory agencies, as well as scientists and professionals in a few diverse disciplines
interested in the biochemical, behavioral, and public health aspects of drug dependence participate. We expect to
have approximately 1200 attendees for the 2020 Meeting, including many international attendees who come for the
CPDD Meeting as well as the NIDA International Forum.
Exhibiting at CPDD brings your organization's message to the heart of the addiction science community. In addition to
the scientific presentations, there are four poster sessions during the meeting, each offers a complimentary meal, or
coffee and tea break. Locating the exhibition space in proximity to the poster session room ensures heavy foot traffic
through the exhibit area over the course of the meeting.
REGISTRATION FOR BOOTH PERSONNEL
As part of your exhibit fee of $1,400, two (2) complimentary exhibitor registrations are included. For two tables the fee is $2,200, which includes three (3) exhibitor registrations. Additional exhibitor badges can be purchased at the reduced rate of for up to four (4) additional company representatives. Please complete the enclosed form and submit with payment on or before May 1, 2020. All additional badges must be prepaid.

INSURANCE
Exhibitors are urged to take out a portal‐to‐portal rider available at a nominal cost on their own insurance protecting them against loss through theft, fire, damage, etc.
SECURITY
CPDD will provide security service for the exhibit hall to control admission and to serve as a deterrent to theft during exhibit hours. However, CPDD is not responsible for any losses incurred by exhibitors. Exhibitors must make arrangements to safeguard valuable property. Admission to the exhibit area is by badge only.

About CPDD HISTORY
The College on Problems of Drug Dependence (CPDD), formerly the Committee on Problems of Drug
Dependence, has been in existence since 1929 and is the longest standing group in the United States
addressing problems of drug dependence and abuse. From 1929 until 1976, the CPDD was associated
with the National Academy of Sciences, National Research Council. Since 1976, the organization has
functioned as an independent body affiliated with other scientific and professional societies representing
various disciplines concerned with problems of drug dependence and abuse. In 1991, the CPDD evolved
into a membership organization with the new name of College on Problems of Drug Dependence.
Currently, CPDD has over 1,000 members. The organization serves as an interface among governmental,
industrial and academic communities maintaining liaisons with regulatory and research agencies as well
as educational, treatment, and prevention facilities in the drug abuse field.
MISSION STATEMENT
The College on Problems of Drug Dependence (CPDD) provides a national and international forum for
scientists of diverse backgrounds to advance the understanding of molecular‐neurobiological aspects of
addictive disorders and, by the application of new scientific knowledge, to improve and develop
treatments utilizing novel behavioral and pharmacological therapies. Through associations with
academia, government agencies and private industry, CPDD is able to promote scientific discoveries in
addictive diseases as well as to inform legislators about their implications for public policy, benefits to
society and the need for continued advancement of science and education on addictive diseases. The
College also nurtures training and development of basic and clinical scientists in these fields.

The CPDD Annual Scientific Meeting is scheduled for June 20‐24, 2020 at The Diplomat Beach Resort in
Hollywood, Florida. Your sponsorship will assist in funding the conference and increasing your corporate exposure.
Sponsors will be recognized on signage, verbally at the opening session, on rotating slides and in other high
exposure ways during the conference. The following special events or services are available for Corporate
Sponsorships. we invite you to choose an event that you wish to sponsor.
2020 Sponsorship Packages
2020 Exhibition Packages and Policies CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE
Exhibitors and their authorized decorators must have liability insurance. Each exhibitor must provide a one‐
page “Certificate of Insurance” listing the College on Problems of Drug Dependence as additionally insured
from their insurance company showing coverage for the duration of the event, including move‐in and move‐
out. The minimum requirement is liability and property damage insurance of no less than $1,000,000 per
occurrence.
ASSIGNMENT OF SPACE
Exhibit booth assignments will be made on a first‐come, first‐served basis upon receipt of payment and a
completed Exhibitor Registration form. No assignment will be made without payment. Upon assignment, you
will receive a confirmation letter with your assigned number and location. CPDD reserves the right to assign
the next best available space when the requested space is unavailable. Subleasing of space is not permitted.
The general contractor will provide a full list of restrictions/policies prior to the meeting.
ANCILLARY EVENTS An ancillary event is any function held during the CPDD Meeting by a party other than CPDD. All ancillary events must receive CPDD authorization whether the organizer is requesting CPDD meeting space or holding the event off‐site. No events may be scheduled during CPDD educational sessions. To obtain CPDD meeting space, the organizer must be an exhibitor and/or conference supporter. All requests must be sent to [email protected].
LIABILITY/HOLD HARMLESS
Exhibitor hereby agrees to and does indemnify, hold harmless, and defend CPDD from and against all liability, responsibility, loss, damage, cost or expense of any kind whatsoever (including attorney’s fees), which may incur, pay or be required to pay, incidents, or indirect employee negligence, acts or omissions by Exhibitor/Attendees; and CPDD and its respective agents or employees shall not be responsible for loss, damage or destruction of property.
PROTECTION OF EXHIBIT SPACE Nothing shall be posted, tacked, nailed, screwed or otherwise attached to columns, walls, floors or other parts of the venue without the written permission of CPDD or a representative of the property, which must be provided to CPDD.
ENFORCEMENT OF RULES AND REGULATIONS The rules and regulations of CPDD’ exhibits are intended to bring order and fairness to the Conference. The exhibitor agrees that CPDD shall have the right to make such rules and regulations or changes in floor plan arrangements of booths for said exhibition as it shall deem necessary. CPDD shall have the final determination for enforcement of all rules, regulations and conditions. CPDD reserves the right without recourse to control or prohibit any exhibit or part of any exhibit that is contrary to the CPDD mission and values. This includes the conduct of persons and the content and placement of printed matter. CPDD may dismiss an exhibitor from the conference for unethical conduct. It is agreed that no refund of fees shall be made upon dismissal.

EXHIBITOR RESPONSIBILITY AND BADGES Each exhibitor must name at least one person to be representative in connection with installation, operation, tear‐down and removal of the exhibit. CPDD reserves the right to have the exhibit installed or cleared at the expense of the exhibitor. Each booth includes a maximum of two (2) complimentary registrations. Exhibitors are invited to attend the sessions but must wear their badges at all conference functions. Additional representatives may register for an additional fee.
COMPLIANCE WITH FIRE REGULATIONS AND LAWS No volatile or flammable fluids, substances, or materials of any nature prohibited by local ordinances, the local fire department or insurance carriers, may be used in any booth or in the exhibit area. Exhibitors must comply with all laws, rules, regulations and ordinances.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS By submitting an exhibit application; I hereby authorize CPDD to reserve exhibit space for use by my company or organization. I hereby acknowledge receipt of and agree to abide by these Exhibit Rules and Regulations and to all conditions under which exhibit space is leased to CPDD. CPDD reserves the absolute right, at any time, to determine the eligibility of any company or product for inclusion in the exhibit. I acknowledge that space assignments shall be acceptable unless CPDD is notified in writing within fifteen (15) days of the date of assignment notification.
