Transcript of Spirit Glass Windows
What you are about to see represents decades of collecting, washing, sorting, creating and presenting.
I believe art engages, inspires, comforts and, in some cases, heals. This work comes not from me but through me in my heart and soul.
I also believe we are stewards of the earth and should recycle, reuse and repurpose whenever possible.

If it blew up in the kiln at the GlassWorks Studio at Salem State College in 2005-2006, part of it is probably in this window.”

Suncatchers
Smaller works are available as gift items for any occasion.
Classes and workshops in making recycled material suncatchers are also available.
Prices for all goods and services upon request.
One of a kind gifts and tributes. Can be made to order. Will use your stuff or mine or a combination (collaboration is my middle name).
Recycled Materials
With the exception of the paint and fixative, all
material used in this work is recycled, including the
windows.
Natural items such as wood, stone, shell, bone
and feathers were collected on the beaches
of Maine and Massachusetts, as was the
sea glass and pottery.
All other materials, including stained and hand
blown glass shards were headed for the landfill.
Intent
Spirit Glass works are intended to engage the imagination and are especially conducive for places of meditation, healing and peace.
They aspire to speak to and uplift the spirits of the viewers.
Although some have been commissioned for private residences, which I am happy to do, I feel they serve their highest purpose as “public art.”
