Traffic on the Strip

Enjoying the many things Las Vegas has to offer is one thing, but as anyone who’s visited during peak season can tell you, driving on the strip can be a nightmare. Between sightseers poking their selfie sticks out the window, limousines jutting out of intersections, and quick-footed pedestrians, if you’re not at a standstill, you’re probably inching along with extreme caution.

What is SpeedVegas?

If that last image didn’t look quite real, don’t worry – there’s nothing wrong with your screen. The image on the previous slide was simply a rendering of the attraction-in-progress, SpeedVegas.

So what exactly is SpeedVegas? In its simplest terms, SpeedVegas is a racetrack, open to the public for anyone looking for an extreme driving experience and willing to pay the price of admission.

The construction of this establishment was wholeheartedly endorsed by the Clark County Commissioners back in early May, and in March of next year, it should be opening up to the public.







What to Expect

Since the attraction is still under construction, changes can still be made to the design, but unless drastic changes are made, the track will be…

1.5 miles long

Built with at least 2,200 feet of straightaways

Filled with tight turns and banks

More experienced drivers will be given clearance to reach speeds of up to 120 miles per hour, but even if you’re not a world-class stunt driver, you can still experience the thrills of an unbridled exotic car experience.







SpeedVegas Offerings

At SpeedVegas, you’ll be given a few options – it’s not a barebones experience, and it can be customized to fit your own tastes and experience level.

Vehicles are chosen from a fleet of high-end exotics

American muscle cars are also available

Participants can take the wheel or ride along

Professional drivers will be on-site to provide exciting ridealong experiences







Design, Construction, and Opening

The idea for SpeedVegas originates from Bob Bernard, the designer of the course itself. Constructed alongside the 1.5-mile track will be a welcome center for visitors to get acclimated and choose their experience, a café, and a meetings space.

The facility is expected to fully open in March of 2016 and is anticipated to generate over $30 million in costs.

Luckily, buying a ticket to this exciting exotic experience isn’t quite as pricey. Packages will be available for as little as $99, and this presumably means that there will be more expensive, more exiting options for those interested.

Construction has already started on the attraction.
