The ix20 cleverly delivers high style without a hint of compromise. The sculpted tail lights step out from the bodywork to give it a contemporary feel. An elegant curved line runs through the wraparound headlights and underlines the front grille, which is enhanced even further with a stylish eco pattern on the Active and Style models. Body-coloured folding

door mirrors are also introduced on Style. But despite its attractive appearance, we didn't choose style over substance. We opted for both. As well as looking the part, its sculpted door mirrors reduce drag as well. In short, it's sophisticated, practical and another excellent example of our fluidic design philosophy. Everyone wants a car that minimises fuel consumption without compromising performance. That's why we created Blue Drive. Clever, fuel–saving technologies have been introduced to the ix20 to help you save at the pumps. The 1.6 CRDi Blue Drive, for example, includes Intelligent Stop and Go (ISG), which automatically stops the engine when you come to a halt, and restarts it again when you de-press the clutch. It also has low rolling resistance tyres and electric power assisted steering, which is quieter,

lighter and saves energy - ultimately reducing emissions. As well as the 1.6 Blue Drive, you can opt for a 1.6 petrol automatic, a 1.4 petrol manual or even a 1.4 diesel manual. If you select manual transmission you’ll also benefit from an eco drive indicator which suggests the optimum time to change gear for maximum efficiency. It's our way of giving you more influence over your fuel consumption. With a range of high–tech engines optimised for greater economy, the ix20 is a perfect example of our fuel–saving philosophy.
