August 5, 2018 Lectionary 18 / Pentecost 11
All are welcome to join us for a special Sunday next week,
August 12. We will gather together for a special all-
congregation blended worship at 9 AM (note there is only
one service that day).
Immediately following worship, we will convene a Special
Congregational Meeting to vote on extending a call to
Pastor Hector Garfias-Toledo. This is an important step in
our transition process, and all are encouraged to take part.
Call Committee Resources Head to trinitylutheranchurch.com/transition to find the full text of the Call Committee’s letter with more details about
their decision to recommend Pastor Garfias-Toledo. On that page, you can also view his video greeting.
Pastor Garfias-Toledo will be available for an informal meet & greet following each of the services today, August 5.
Look for him in the narthex or multipurpose room.
Special Upcoming Schedule

Today, August 5, we celebrate with joy and thanksgiving our siblings in Christ at Pointe of Grace Lutheran Church
as they hold their Charter Meeting to become a separately recognized congregation. Pointe of Grace reopened
its doors as a ministry partner site of Trinity in 2009 after the previous congregation, Harbour Pointe Lutheran,
closed its doors. We are grateful for nine years of partnership in ministry, and look forward to a renewed
relationship as we all seek to be Christ for our neighbors.
