Our Philosophy…
ALL KIDS ARE OUR KIDS
It is the belief of the New Canaan YMCA that all children are first and foremost children, regardless of need or ability. All individuals are welcome and encouraged to participate in our traditional programs; adaptations and accomodations are available.
Individual differences are to be celebrated in an inclusive recreational experience, allowing the YMCA to fully deliver on its charitable mission of “enriching all people in spirit, mind, and body.”
Look for the YSN logo in the Spring Brochure!
The YMCA has specifically designed several programs with special needs in mind. These specialized programs are located throughout the brochure in their respective departments but can be easily recognized by the YSN logo (left). Please take note that all programs, including specialized programs, are open to all YMCA members, regardless of need or ability.
Should you need assistance in selecting a program or exploring the options available to you, please do not hesitate to contact Marisa McBride,
Director of Special Needs Programming, at [email protected] or (203) 966-4528, ext. 156.
