Welcome to May’s edition of the Brisbane Iveco Newsletter, this year has not looked like slowing down and with the release the Government’s budget this month we can see the momentum continuing.

May is always an exciting time of the year with both codes Rugby league & AFL well on their way and off course the most important period begins of every year and that is State of Origin where goods mates become ultimate enemies over state pride and the banter begins over the bragging rights for who is the best, obviously it’s QUEENSLAND.

ERNIE PERRY

In another Major Launch with Brisbane Iveco - Truck Bodies.

Brisbane Iveco has been able to secure the opportunity to take on one of the well-known and respected body builders in Brisbane with Ernie Perry Joining the team of Brisbane Iveco!

Ernie has lived in Brisbane all his life, growing up as a kid in Sunnybank not far away. “it made it a real easy decision to stay in the area” Ernie said. Ernie brings with him 47 years’ experience, and started his Career at 15 yrs old building Trailers at McGrath Trailers, from their he went to Freighter Trailers as Service Manager and the last 18 years working at Big Rigs. Ernie mentioned, “I’ve not moved a lot or very far, I like investing the time and effort into a business and seeing it grow makes it easy keeping relationships with customers I’ve known for years, they become like good friends”.

Ernie Perry also has some great experienced staff joining him on his new Venture at Brisbane Iveco. “We have 2 other guys hitting the floor for a start and between them they have over 100 years’ experience from Trailer smash repairs to new body builds,” Ernie mentions. Ernie is well respected for some of his ideas he has placed into the design of Pans and Tautliners with an eye for detail and finding ways around designs to build a better product.

This will give Brisbane Iveco the opportunity to support customers to another level and now if you need a new body to even have had an accident and need to get repairs done, we will be here to help.

Brisbane Iveco Truck Bodies will be able to complete all sorts of engineering task for our current customers and even new customers who have not had the opportunity to work with Brisbane Iveco.

Latest event for Karlie and Paul Buccini saw them head to Stanthorpe for round 2 at Carnell Raceway. Karlie mentions “this is our first ever time running in the short circuit event, and Paul finished 2nd in his class!”

Buccini Racing were happy with their results and topped it off by having awesome fun too.

In the sprints events Buccini Racing did really well also with Paul Buccini coming first in class and followed closely by Karlie who finished 2nd by 100 of a second.

Both Paul and Karlie want to thank SCMSA for the great weekend.

Next event is Morgan Park May 11-13th for the 2nd round of the B Series Sprints.

Borobi gives the 2 Brisbane Iveco Truck Rentals a thumbs up for all their help during the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

The trucks were on 24-hour callout with a customer based on Melbourne who needed some extra trucks to full a contract over the 2 week period

Brisbane Iveco was able to jump to action and have the trucks ready to go and cater for this customer needs.

The customer mentioned also “Being able to also rent one of the new international Pro-Stars gave us an opportunity also to try the new product, which was a great opportunity also”.
