Location: Spain is located on

of Europe. Spain is bordered by

Portugal, Gibraltar, Andorra and France.

Gibraltar is a waterway that separates Spain from Africa.

Retiro Park is the largest park in central Madrid. Its area is more than 1.4 km² (350 acres). The lake is in the middle of the Park.Rent a rowing boat is popular.

Alfonso XII MonumentA large monument with an equestrian statue of King Alfonso XII

overlooks the lake. The monument, erected in 1922 by King Alfonso's mother, consists of a semicircular colonnade with an equestrian statue

Crystal Palace is designed in 1887 by Ricardo Velázquez Bosco. Crystal palace can be found at the south-eastern end of the park.It was built in 5

Arc de Triomf This beautiful arch was built for the 1888 Universal Exposition, by artist Josep Vilaseca i Casanovas. The Arc de Triomf served as the exposition's main entrance. The arch is located between Passeig de Lluís Companys and Passeig de Sant Joan.
