We live in Spain, a very nice country in the south west of Europe. Madrid is the capital city of the country.

Spain is integrated by 17 autonomous communities and 2 autonomous cities. Autonomous communities are integrated by provinces, of which there are 50 in total.

GEOGRAPHY

Mainland Spain is a mountainous country, dominated by high plateaus and mountain chains. The highest peak, the 3,478 m high Mulhacén, located in Sierra Nevada, is the highest elevation in the Iberian Peninsula. But the highest point in Spain is The Teide, 3,718-metres, in the Canary Islands.

There are several major rivers in Spain such as the Tajo (Tagus), the Ebro, the Duero(Douro), the Guadiana and the Guadalquivir
