Focus Area:Interactive Digital Media

Project (A): Rendering Grid

Brief Description Involves grid resources from geographically different sites,

performing digital media rendering. The rendering software used could be POV-Ray, mental ray,

or other open-source software.

Objective To perform rendering across resources in Malaysia,

Singapore, and Thailand (and any other interested sites)

Completion Criteria To be able to seemlessly perform a rendering job across the

resources through the web portal.

Focus Area:Interactive Digital Media

Deployment Specifications

Sites: Malaysia : Mybiogrid (68 CPUs) Singapore: Guava (10 CPUs) Thailand: Annata (64 CPUs)

Software Stack Globus Toolkit 4 with Pre-WS component SCMS Web POV-Ray

Web Submission Portal Provided by Thai National Grid Center

Focus Area:Interactive Digital Media
