I N T R OMy sophomore year has been full of different amazing, challenging and inspirational experiences.

Each new experience caused me to communicate different emotions.

Emotions helped trigger ideas and inspiration. They connect me with

my work on a personal level. I have learned that emotions are part of my

growth as a SVA student. I am honored to share this book with you and to

prove that all of my emotions from being overwhelmed, anxious, sobbing

& cursing a lot led to the greatest emotion of all: SATISFACTION.

Created a series of three book covers to

visually interpret the assigned Ethan Coen

short stories. I based my designs off of an

important character within each story and

focused on a significant subject covering

their face on the back of each book.

For this assignment, I got the opportunity

to create my own magazine based off

of personal interests. Boho Within is

a magazine dedicated to my love of

bohemian interior design and lifestyle.

This zine started from creating 100 different

layouts of the name “Massimo Vignelli”

using only five typefaces: Helvetica, Futura,

Bodoni, Century, and Times Roman. Then a

selective amount was put into this zine.

This book series was designed for three

of Walter Dean Myers books. Dope Sick,

The Beast and Shooter are all young adult

fiction stories dealing with violence, drug

addiction, and gang warfare.

In this section you'll find an identity designed for the everyday business man with a

classic look and the rebranding of my favorite, Moe's Cafe.

Tasked to create a company that related

to a specific classmates' interest. Luke

Warm became a men's suit shop. The name

coming from the moderate temperature

of water and relates to the brand being a

reasonable price for the everyday man.

For this assignment, I had the opportunity

to redesign SVA's famous Moe's Café. My

design strategy was to really focus on the

café part which led me to incorporating the

name into a coffee cup shape.

In this section you'll find social issue posters using wood type and postcards

displaying what New York City is all about.

I was tasked to create three posters based

off of a social issue and design them using

classic varieties of wood type. I chose to

focus on the water crisis, gender equality,

and ending the wars.

The task for this assignment was to create

a series of postcards inspired by New York

City. One thing I admire about NYC is the

diversity of different areas. I chose to base

my designs off of the Financial District,

Garment District, and Times Square and

the kind of people you would find there.

In this section you'll find dvd packaging for one of Sergio Leone's famous

films and a chocolate packaging project turned political.

For this assignment I was tasked to watch

Sergio Leone's film and design the dvd

case along with the inside booklet. I used

Leone's wide angled shots from the film as

a design aesthetic throughout the project.

Seven deadly sins is a chocolate brand

based off of the seven sins. I took a more

humorous approach and incorporated

the 2016 presidential candidates into my
