BTX Appliance & Bundled Solutions for SolsticeBTX Solstice Appliance Provides Users With Freedom

In order to better support our integration customers, BTX has configured a small form factor computer that is approved for Solstice use. These are ideal in end user settings such as corporate boardrooms, classrooms and lecture halls. There are two options available to choose from; an embedded Windows-based locked down Appliance or an open configuration Bundled version.

The BTX Solstice Appliance is designed to run Mersive Solstice Display software only. The configuration is “locked down”, making this a truly plug and play collaboration appliance without the possibility of a user changing or disabling any features. The BTX Solstice Bundle is exactly the same as the Appliance but provides users with the freedom of having the hardware available for other uses including Mersive. There are two versions available in both of the hardware configurations, a Small Group Edition (SGE) for up to four presenters and an unlimited presenter version.

Mersive Solstice PodThe Solstice Pod is a turnkey solution that connects to the display in the room, enabling multiple users to instantly connect, share and control content. Up to 256 users can connect to the Solstice Pod; it is remotely managed and configured using any web browser.

Why choose Solstice Pod? � It is easy to use, users can click and drag any source to rearrange the layout, move sources quickly into and out of view, make any post full screen or pan/zoom a single source.

� Supports touch screen by connecting the Pod via USB to a touch display. � Provides a level of protection with the Moderator Control and Security Settings. One or more leaders can accept/reject incoming user connections and preview media posts submitted by guest users for approval before they appear.

� Works with enterprise networks. The Solstice Directory Service, a TCP/IP-based mechanism, allows client devices to find displays on large enterprise networks that do not allow broadcast traffic. Users can pick from a drop-down list of display names to connect to from their client devices.

� The Pod is simple to configure and IT administrators can remotely configure Solstice Pods with any web browser.
