“I reflect upon myself as a young business professional growing in my school studies, creating experiences for my future, and standing out in the crowd; like a red tulip amongst the yellow.”

Welcome!

“Originally, I began my after school career in the field of Advertising and Graphic Design—but eventually my love for Marketing prevailed.”

Almost two years experience in the industry, I decided that I enjoyed the business aspect of the working world, which vindicated my desire to learn.

A little about me...

A diploma in Advertising and Graphic Design from Humber College was not enough for this overzealous go-getter. Currently, I am attending Durham College to obtain a two year diploma in Business Administration focused in Marketing (Honours 2011/2012).

I have a dream of achieving a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration majoring in Marketing, hopefully at Schulich School of Business, so here I am wildly chasing down my dreams.

While working at Subway, I also worked a part-time cashier position at Bulk Barn Foods Canada. (2007-2008)

I quickly learnt the keys to success lie in who and what you know—that is why Social Media flourishes.

Networking on Social Media sites, like Facebook, Twitter and Google+, allows connections to, otherwise, people I would not generally meet. Through these sites individuals can learn about my personality and interets, getting to understand who I am on a personal and professional basis.

Social Media Sites & I...

Social Media resumes, such as LinkedIn, open the door for opportunities by giving prospective employers and clients the ability to explore my showcased skill sets, interests and experiences, without ever having to interact directly with me—it spares us our time.

Should an interest spark, Social Media tools provide a quick and easy outlet for contacting one another, developing and expanding our connections and relationships with professionals in the field.

LinkedIn Networking...

Social Media sites, such as Blogger and Twitter, allow the writer to express their thoughts on social issues and interests, while showcasing the author’s ability to communicate effectively.

Prospective employers can use these sites to distinguish whom will best fit in with the office atmosphere, and adapt quickly—which can make or break your resume.
