Being on the go, meeting people face-to-face, and constantly hustling 24/7 can be exciting at first, but soon it starts to take over your entire life, areweright?

Hey, John and Nadya here!

We wanted to share our story because -- being an ambitious, committed marketer -- we figured you’re probably going through a similar journey to our own.

Except for one thing... WE WERE WORKING ALL. THE. TIME.

Branding Yourself vs. Branding Your Company: The BIG Decision

A few years ago, we made an executive decision to start branding and marketing ourselves, rather than our company. We consider it the BEST business decision we’ve ever made. We’ve met so many amazing people, and generated tens of thousands of leads, all because of this single choice.

Do you have to do the same to be successful in network marketing? Nope! But in our experi-ence, branding yourself and having a consistent online presence gives you an extra edge over the rest of your competition. Even if you do many face-to-face meetings, people are still going to go home and look YOU up.

How do you make this shift? Here are our simple steps.

Step #1: Focus on ONE social media platform.

We hate to break it to you, but you’re not a robot. You can’t keep up EVERY social account out there and expect to see results. Instead, start by focusing on ONE primary platform, and turn that into your very own online home. Develop it. Make sure that it's warm, inviting, and fun! Turn it into a place where people will want to hang out with you because if they don't know you, they won't do business with you.

HOT TIP: Think of your Facebook profile as a warm market generator. Your goal on Facebook is to project, connect, and build those long-term business relationships. When you get this dialed in, your marketing e�orts will turn into leads. Once you have those leads, you can begin prospecting. Easy-peasy!

Step #2: Upload your BEST photo.

Would you ever greet someone for the first time with a grumpy face? Of course not! One of the first things people see on your profile is your picture. So make sure it’s a good one. They want to know who they’re interacting with, so the happier you look, the better for your brand it will be! A smile goes a long way!

Step #3: Brand your cover photo to you

Imagine walking into a networking event and shouting out what you do before introducing yourself to people. Sounds crazy, right? The same is valid for social media. Brand your cover photo to YOU, not your business.

HOT TIP: If people can figure out what network market-ing business you’re building within a couple of minutes of being on your profile — you’re doing it wrong!

Step #4: Provoke curiosity with your About section.

Fill out your ‘About Section’ in such a way that piques people's natural curiosity. Don't name your network marketing company because you'll close the loop before people reach out to you. (Nobody wants that to happen!) You should always close the loop yourself by talking to your prospects!

If you don’t, they’ll just Google your business, and make their decision based on the opinion of someone they don’t know. We want prospects to make up their mind based on YOU!

Step #5: Run Your Newsfeed like a TV channel.

Would you watch a TV network if they showed the same program day after day? We didn’t think so. Broadcast daily on various topics. Provide people with valuable content, and occasionally promote your product or busi-ness.

The Best Marketing is Education

It's very simple — people follow strength and authority. Show them that you have both by teach-ing! Educate them on topics you might think are relevant to them and see how your leads multi-ply! Educate, Entertain and Empower!

Create generic content 80% of the time, and in the remaining 20% — think of creative ways to casually promote what you sell. And what’s even more crucial is that you don’t mention the name of your company, product or service.

If people don’t know, like or trust you, they won’t do business with you. So make sure you bring them relevant and credible value.

There’s so much noise out there these days that if you don’t give people a REASON to follow you, they won’t, no matter how charming!

5-5-3 Daily Prospecting Formula

Prospecting is an income-producing activity that you should do on the daily. In a nutshell, you identify and connect with people who have the potential to become your customers and your recruits. Set aside 30 minutes to 1 hour a day to do just that. (You probably spend more time scrolling on Facebook for fun!)

Here is how it works:

00Friend up 5 new people/day.00Pique the interest of 5 people/day.00Have 3 people/day go through the presentation or try your product.

Now that doesn't sound that scary, does it? And it produces impressive results!

Attracting Your Ideal Facebook Audience

#1: Use Facebook Live Video

Even if you don’t feel confident or experienced enough to go live, we suggest going for it! You have nothing to lose and SO much to gain. Live video is THE most e�ective way to build trust, relationships and recruit prospects. And we promise you, the more videos you do, the better you will become!

So go ahead, and lead by example! If you want more likes, comments, and shares, give even more likes, comments, and shares! Remind people of yourself by showing up in their notifica-tions because you liked and commented on status updates.

Another e�ective way to interact with people is by wishing them a "Happy birthday." Do that every day. And if you want to take the conversation further, lead into it by asking them what they're up to or how their family’s doing.

Just be authentic and start real conversations. You can’t ‘fake-it’ with this technique.

#3: Use Facebook Messenger

Private messages are another great way to connect with people. They feel more personal, like getting a letter in the mail! Check out who is online right at that very moment, and drop them a line. Better yet — use the Audio Recorder and send them a voice message. It’s faster and way more e�ective!

We always check our messages and respond to as many as possible. If you find yourself too overwhelmed by the sheer volume, try to prioritize.

We answer messages in the following order:

Scripts! The anxiety you feel before talking to prospects is NATURAL. It happens to everyone. (Yes, even us!) You worry about what you’re going to say or about what they might think. Sometimes, even a casual chit-chat can feel overwhelming.

We’ve been there, and we’re here to tell you that a) there’s no way around it because you’re in the People Business, and developing a relationship with your customers is a must, and b) it gets better. Asking the right questions is a big help.

The main reason why people buy your product isn't the product itself; it's YOU! If they see you as an authority, if they see that you love what you do and you believe in what you sell, they will take the next natural step — buying from YOU!

Lead with the relationship, ask the right questions, and build rapport!

Part I: How to F.O.R.M Relationships Like a PRO

When you set out to build a lasting relationship with your prospects, the biggest secret is to understand what’s important to them. How will you know?

ASK! People are narcissistic in nature (guilty as charged)— they like talking about themselves, and they like being asked questions where they get to talk even more about themselves. So use that!

The more you get your prospect talking, the more they will trust you, and the more they will be willing to buy from you. Remember, questions give you power and authority — you’re steering the conversation, and you’re in charge.

Think of your prospects as good friends. How would you talk to your best friend about your product or business? Use the same tone and message with your customers, and they’ll stop seeing this as a sales pitch. Be on the lookout for their “hot buttons” and the “me, too” bridges. The more you can relate, the more you’ll be unstoppable!

Some of the most e�ective questions we like to ask are divided into 4 categories. We call it the F.O.R.M. method. Here is how it looks like:

Part II: Inviting Prospects

Remember what your initial goal is — to create curiosity and build value in the “product” com-munity. So don’t send your prospects any links or try “selling” the benefits of the product with the initial message. It just won’t work. Create curiosity, add them to the private XYZ Facebook community, and tag them in the pinned post.

1. Customer ATM Script (Weight-Loss)

Hey, [name]! How are you doing?

Catch up a little bit — find out what they’ve been up to and how they’re doing.

I wanted to run a quick idea by you. I just joined a Facebook community that’s focused on health, fitness & weight loss that I'm finding beneficial. This is a positive group that already has over 100,000 members. I thought some of my friends might enjoy it, too. Since joining, I have a ton of energy, and I'm down 16 lbs so far on these products (Or share a testimonial of a friend: “I’m excited to start using some of the products. My friend is already down 5 inches). Let me know if you’d like to check it out and I'll add you! If not, no worries. Either way, love seeing you on here.

When your friend responds back with: “What are the products?”, “What is the community?” or “Sure, add me!” Simply add them to the Facebook Group. Tag them in the pinned post and send them the following private message:

Hey, [name]! How are things?

Catch up a little bit — find out what they’ve been up to and how they’re doing.

I found a way to make money using Facebook. OMG, you have to see this ... I can add you to a private Facebook community with over 20,000 members that you must check out. It's blow-ing up right now, and I'm already experiencing success (share your results and your reason WHY).

When your friend responds back with, “What’s the business?”, “What is the Facebook Group about?” or “Sure, add me!” simply add them to the Facebook community. Tag them in the pinned post and send them the following private message:

I have connected you as my guest in the XYZ Facebook Community. I tagged you in a couple of videos that explain more about the compensation plan, the system to build your entire business from Facebook and the results people are having.

I’m also gonna add you to 1 (or 2 more) Facebook Groups where you can learn more about the incredible products we o�er.

Don’t get into the Q & A before they’ve watched the videos.

After all of this is done, you’ll want to get out of the way. The best thing you can do (especially if you’re just starting out) is to set up a 3-way Facebook chat between your prospect and your upline. Let him/her answer all the questions they may have. It’s much easier to close afterward.

Part III: How to Set Up a 3-way Facebook Chat

The first thing you need to do is message your prospect before you set up the chat:

Hey, [prospect's name]. I'm glad you liked what you saw! I'm working with some pretty incredi-ble people. I want to introduce you to a couple of them so that you can hear their story and they can answer some of your questions since I'm pretty new ... hang on. I will set up a group chat =)

Set up the chat and message the group with your prospect and upline/s:

Hey, Samantha (your upline name)! This is Mary (your prospect’s name). She is a great friend of mine. Right now she is [running a daycare business] and is looking to potentially start a business leveraging Facebook.

Hey, Mary! Meet Samantha (your upline name). She's got a lot of knowledge about XYZ busi-ness and is the perfect person to answer your questions. She's built a multi-million dollar organization here in XYZ company. She is married with a few kids, and she's super down to earth.

Part IV: Closing

This part can also be overwhelming, so we’ll share with you some of the closing questions we use all the time, and the ones we know work best:

1. What did you like most about what you saw?2. Tell me more about that … Why did you like … [insert what they told you]?3. Where are you on a scale of 1 to 10? 10 being "you're ready to get started right now with the Top Pack," 1 being "you just want to be a customer."4. Are you coachable? Great, let’s get you started right away. Can I tell you what info I think you need to get you started?

Our personal favorite is “Where are you on a scale of 1 to 10?”. It’s very simple, and it gives you a pretty good idea of what your prospects are thinking without having to ask them explicitly.

Part V: Objections

When objections come up, do not get defensive. Questions and objections are there to test you, so keep your posture strong.

Ask them “What do you mean by that?” to be sure you're absolutely clear on what the objection is about. Once they give you an answer, reply back and follow up with "On a scale of 1-10, how serious are you about reaching your XYZ goal?” or "Is it that you are serious about XYZ goal, and you really don't have any money (time, etc.) or are you just telling me that you don't have any money because you just don't have interest at this time?"

Disclaimer: Keep it friendly. Never sound like you’re accusing or blaming them!

Objection #1: “I’m Very Busy. Don’t Have Enough Time.”

This really isn't about their time; it's about who they know. So respond with: 00Well, how much time do you have? (let them reply)00(whatever they say) Great, that’s perfect!

Objection #2: "I Don't Have Money to Get Started."

Respond with: 00If you don't have the money to start the business, it's probably the exact reason you need to get started. My mentor taught me that if "nothing changes nothing changes." You don't want to be in the same situation 6 months from now, do you? Let's do this thing!00Is it that you are serious about the business and you really don’t have any money or are you just telling me that you don’t have any money because you don’t have interest at this time?

HOT TIP: If they really don't have the money but are dead serious, plug them in any way! You never know who they know and what they could lead to. Expose, involve, and upgrade!

Objection #3: "I Need to Talk to My Spouse."

Respond with: 00I totally understand! Is it that you’re serious about the business and you really do run all the decisions by your spouse or are you just telling me that because you’re not serious about starting a business at this time?00If they are serious, say: "Great, let's add your spouse to the groups so he/she can take a look at the information in the same exact way that you did. Also, let's set up a Facebook chat with all of us, and he/she can ask us the questions as well.”

Objection #4: "Let Me Think About It."

Respond with:00I totally understand! Is it that you’re serious about the business and you really need to think about it or are you just telling me that because you’re not serious about starting a business at this time?00Great! Most people want to take time to think about their decision before making it. Can I ask you, on a scale of 1-10 where do you stand? What would make it a ten?

Objection #5: “How Much Money Are You Making?”

Respond with:00I don’t know. I am not done making it yet.00I'm just getting started, and I'm not doing this for the short-term income. I'm building this for long-term residual income so I can ... [state your reason WHY]. When do you want to get started? Now or later today? ;)00You wouldn’t believe me if I told you! Haha!

Part VI: Follow Up

Remember: Fortune is in the follow-up! Here 3 key principles:

#1: Keep Your Promises

Always do what you said you’d do. If you told your prospect that you’d call him on a specific date, make sure that you call him on the exact date. Professionalism is key here. (Plus, it’s just good manners.)

#2: Get Organized

Use a planner or a digital calendar — whatever is easiest for you. Put reminders about every follow-up. You can't run your business like a hobby and expect to get million-dollar results. It just doesn't work like that. So be methodical, and success will come.

#3: Keep Them in the Loop

Don’t be afraid of creating a relationship with your best prospects! Connect with them on Face-book, give them a call or even meet with them in person, if they live close by! Make sure that you keep them updated on special o�ers, big events, new products, etc. Even if they don’t buy now, they might change their mind later.

How to Follow Up E�ectively:

0024-48 hour follow up: “Hey, Mary! Where’s your head at with XYZ business?”00If no response after a few days, follow up with: “Hey, are you OK?”00If still no response, say: "Hey, Mary! You must be busy, and I don't want to keep hounding you … I am going to take you o� my list for now. Let me know if you want me to follow up with you in a month, 6 months, or a year."
