Social Media Driver Package • FAQ
How is this different from when I post independently on my Facebook page? Facebook only serves your post to between 10 and 20% of your total followers…unless you pay to boost the campaign! Based on our experiences with advertising on Facebook, our team will execute effective, profitable campaigns.
How long will my campaign run? Three weeks. You can schedule the posts however you’d like during that period.
Can I change my creative during that time? We strongly encourage you to use the same message and design to ensure it sticks in your customers’ mind.
Does Facebook have design restrictions? On certain kinds of promotion, images used in advertising are only allowed to have text cover 20% of the graphic. Headlines for ads can only have 25 characters and body copy is maxed at 90 characters.
Will I receive a separate bill for the amount you will spend on Facebook to promote my business? No. The Times will handle payment.
How will I know if the campaign is working? Your ad executive can provide you with a fulfillment report showing likes, reach and clicks you’ve received.
Will Times Digital need administrative access to my Facebook page? Up to you. We can schedule paid posts for you from our Times Total Media Page, and they will appear as if they’re coming from Tampa Bay Times Total Media (See example A). If you provide us administrative access to your page, they will appear as if they’re coming from your page (See example B).
