2015 SNELLVILLE DAYS ENTERTAINMENT

SUNDAY • 2:45PM • MAIN STAGESATURDAY • 3:15 PM • MAIN STAGE

With a stage per-sona as fiery as their blazing red locks, these triplets engage the crowd with their story through real life lyrics and rolling banjos intertwined with rocking guitars. Through their unwav-ering boldness there is a Southern Missis-sippi charm rooted

in faith, family, and an unshakable call to show the world where true Hope is found.

Sharing that unmea-sured charisma like

Andre 3000, soul of the Jackson Five, and the

diversity of Prince, Decatur based band,

Hero, is like none other. Hero consist of four bio-

logical brothers musi-cally gifted in every way possible. Hero’s unique sound comes from such varied musical influenc-es; that if you had to place a genre with their sound, they would say that

“they are an iPod band,” – many vibrations containing musical art.

ROBINSON’S RACING PIGS & PADDLING PORKERS

Robinsons Racing Pigs have been en-tertaining fair and festival goers over

25 years!! a staple for fairs around the country they have appeared on

all major TV networks as well as the tonight show with Johnny Carson and

Jay Leno

K9’S IN FLIGHT FRISBEE DOGS John Misita’s K9s in Flight are the premier K9 Sports entertainers in the world! With over 15 years of professional experience, they have dazzled audiences all across America and beyond.

2015 SNELLVILLE DAYS FEATURED VOLUNTEERS

SNELLVILLE DAYS CHAIR BOB DAVISBob started with Snellville Days the first year of the Blue & Gray 5K Road Race which was 2007. He was a volunteer cross-country coach at South Gwinnett High School, and used the Snellville Days event as an opportunity to hold the B&G 5K, which was the annual booster club fund raiser for the team.  The team has since graduated and

moved into adult life, but he is still with Snellville Days, and we are happy about that. He is a phar-macist at Eastside Medical Center, and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lilburn.   His hobbies include civil war re-enacting and he is a member of Company-A, 125th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. He is also a member ofThe SU-VCW (Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War-uniform shown in his picture here).  He is an avid cyclist (since arthritis has made running difficult), and a German language student at the Goethe Zentrum in Atlanta. He loves to travel, espe-cially to Europe.  At home, he is a serious gardener, amateur stamp collector, animal lover, and military history buff.

SNELLVILLE DAYS VICE CHAIR MARY JANE GRESHAMMary Jane Gresham is a retired school teacher at Snellville El-ementary and was born in Ameri-cus, Georgia. She has been to ev-ery Snellville Days back to 1974

(yes, she even came to the two rained out ones). This will be her 25th year as a volunteer and she has announced this is her last year on the committee, but she will still come to the festival (we need overwhelming response from read-ers to encourage her to stay). You can find her every year volunteer-ing at the parade and then coming to Briscoe Park and working at the information tent. She and her late husband, Jimmy, have spent their lives volunteering with Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Lions Club, Britt El-ementary, Snellville Middle, South Gwinnett (members of the PTSA), and of course; Snellville Days. If we ever need help, she comes run-ning and has been a treasured “go to” source for Snellville Days his-tory and photos.

COMMITTEE MEMBER REGINA HARTAs an empty nester, Regina knew she wanted to put her volunteer efforts towards her community of which she has loved and lived in

for 26 years. She mentioned this to Susan Chappelear, another Snellville Days Committee mem-ber, and Susan said, “well that’s great, come to the Snellville Days meet-ing tomor-row night”, so she went to her first one in November of 2013. She had such fun meeting the volunteers and enjoyed working with the explor-ers during the event, but her fa-vorite spot is working the welcome tent and greeting all the folks as they entered the park. This festival would not exist without the dedi-cation of volunteers like Regina. She is an inspiration for more vol-unteers to come forward and see just how much fun it is.
