YOUR SMART DRIVE Your Smart Drive has a unique control and drive system developed by Fishor amp Paykel for use in autowashers Using this system the wash cycle can be controlled in such a way that soil removal is maximised with minimum wear and tear to clothes The Smart Drive system includes a sophisticated package of electronics in the console of the washer which controls a variable speed motor coupled directly to the agitator This allows much greater versatility than conventional mechanical machines that use clutches brakes and gearboxes to control one or two speed motors

AGITATOR ACTIONS When selecting cycles you choose between one of 3 wash actions that alter across the 5 water levels This provides 15 different agitator actions to cater for all your wash situations Each is the result of extensive testing over many years

LOAD ADAPTION Your Smart Drive monitors the agitator action at the water level you have chosen and fine tunes the action to suit the size of the load you are washing This ensures a consistently high wash performance

HANDWASHING The unique delicate and wool cycles allow you to wash articles that you have previously only washed by hand

WATER TEMPERATURE Your Smart Drive has a range of 5 electronically controlled water temperaturos Electronic control protects your clothes and ensures optimum wash performance by mixing the hot and cold water prior to entering the wash bowl

WATER LEVELS Unlike conventional mechanical washers your Smart Drive allows the lowest water level to begin at the base of the agitator This provides a wider range of water levels and greater water savings with smaller loads

SPIN SPEEDS The same electronic flexibility that provides a variety of agitator actions also provides a range of spin speeds (300 700 and 1000 rpm) to cater for all fabrics The top spin speed of 1000 rpm will leave your clothes noticeably drier

INSTALLATIONINSTALLATION INSTALLINGTo ensure the best performance from your new 1 Uncoil power cord Smart Drive please read the following

instructions carefu IIy - 2~ Remove the blaCK ribbed drain hose from the fixture on the left hand side of the rear UNPACKING panel by carefully pulling the exposed part shy

1 Having removed the outer packaging leave lof the hose downwards and outwards

the machine standing upright in the bottom -cardboard packer 3 Connect drain hose to tub or standpipe The

hose guide included in the accessory kit is 2 Lift lid and remove bowl packer from bowl to guide the drain hose over the tubor

YOUR SMART DRIVE Your Smart Drive has a unique control and drive system developed by Fishor amp Paykel for use in autowashers Using this system the wash cycle can be controlled in such a way that soil removal is maximised with minimum wear and tear to clothes The Smart Drive system includes a sophisticated package of electronics in the console of the washer which controls a variable speed motor coupled directly to the agitator This allows much greater versatility than conventional mechanical machines that use clutches brakes and gearboxes to control one or two speed motors

AGITATOR ACTIONS When selecting cycles you choose between one of 3 wash actions that alter across the 5 water levels This provides 15 different agitator actions to cater for all your wash situations Each is the result of extensive testing over many years

LOAD ADAPTION Your Smart Drive monitors the agitator action at the water level you have chosen and fine tunes the action to suit the size of the load you are washing This ensures a consistently high wash performance

HANDWASHING The unique delicate and wool cycles allow you to wash articles that you have previously only washed by hand

WATER TEMPERATURE Your Smart Drive has a range of 5 electronically controlled water temperaturos Electronic control protects your clothes and ensures optimum wash performance by mixing the hot and cold water prior to entering the wash bowl

WATER LEVELS Unlike conventional mechanical washers your Smart Drive allows the lowest water level to begin at the base of the agitator This provides a wider range of water levels and greater water savings with smaller loads

SPIN SPEEDS The same electronic flexibility that provides a variety of agitator actions also provides a range of spin speeds (300 700 and 1000 rpm) to cater for all fabrics The top spin speed of 1000 rpm will leave your clothes noticeably drier
