    Government 100 Smart Cities Mission has created the roadmap andallocated initial funding. Detailed guidelines are expected, shortly.

    NASSCOM was invited by Ministry of Urban Development to leaddiscussions with industry on possible ICT interventions

    NASSCOM requested to develop the ICT architecture framework, GISarchitecture framework and the Safe City architecture framework for the 100

    Smart Cities Mission.

    Value chain and need analysis of city core sub systems Define Smart for each City Core Sub Systems ICT Governance, Organizational requirements, Change & Capability

    Conceptual architecture Implementation framework and approach Performance management framework

    This framework also recommends the possible funding mechanisms andprocurement strategies

    Serve as a ready reckoner to the State/Local administration in their efforts totransform into a Smart City and attempts to demystify the use of Information,

    communication and Geospatial Technologies in driving efficiencies and

    bringing about increased collaboration amongst different city sub domains.
