Rapid Urbanisation; Expected 3x increase in urban population need toexpand urban infrastructure

A well thought through ICT strategy integral to development of SmartCities; should synergise existing investments in technology infrastructure.

Government 100 Smart Cities Mission has created the roadmap andallocated initial funding. Detailed guidelines are expected, shortly.

NASSCOM was invited by Ministry of Urban Development to leaddiscussions with industry on possible ICT interventions
