Why is correct branding important?

Correct branding of our lifesaving equipment

and uniforms is essenal. Not only does it

allo our lifesavers an lifeguars to be easilyidenable by members of the public and

other emergency services, but it promotes our

services as unied and professional.

To make it easy for manufacturers/suppliers

an our lubs an servies, Surf Life Saving

has developed a guideline for the branding

of all lifesaving equipment and uniforms. The

folloing guieline outlines the orret olours,

logos and call signs to use. Where possible it

also includes the size and dimensions of sckers

for the branding of equipment.

By having your equipment and apparel branded

correctly; you’ll help us promote the true value

of Surf Life Saving.

Surf Life Saving’s colour palee where indicated:

Li f esaving Equipment Rescue Board

Rescue boards are to be nished in yellow colour.

So rescue boards may have a white underside.

The board shall have the words SURF RESCUE orLIFEGUARD displayed on the top and underside

of the boar. The ors shoul be in re olour.

Topside: The leers should be 100mm in height

and 35mm wide and appear 350mm from the

nose of the boar.

NB: Lifeguard rescue boards may have the word

LIFEGUARD printed on the rails of the board

instead of the topside.

Underside: The leers should be 200mm in

height and 100mm wide and appear in the

entre of the boar.

Sponsor or manufacturer logos can appear above

and below the SURF RESCUE/LIFEGUARD on

the topside of the board. These logos must not

obscure the SURF RESCUE/LIFEGUARD branding.
