formulated by me and are only available from Miss Fitness Life.

Many of the store bought proteins and chocolate powders are made using by-

products or contain poor quality ingredients that have been highly processed.

These recipes have been tested to work perfectly with Miss Fitness Life Slimdown

Smoothie Mix and Superclean Chocolate products but I cannot guarantee they will

work with any store bought substitutes.

Very Berry Muffins

Merry Muffins

Ingredients – 8 large muffins

2 cup Wholemeal Flour

½ teaspoon Baking Soda

2 teaspoon Baking Powder

2 scoops (60 grams) Slimdown Smoothie Mix

1 Vanilla Bean

1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil

110 grams Apple Sauce (or make your own - see “No added Sugar Apple Sauce”)

110 grams Medjool Dates (pips removed)

1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar

200 grams frozen Mixed Berries – roughly chopped

1 ½ cups Water

1 ½ teaspoon Cinnamon

Preheat oven to 180°C and spray or line muffins tin with 8 muffin cups.

Remove date pips and chop dates into pieces. Boil in ¾ c water until they are soft (make

sure you don’t boil away all the water).

Once soft remove from the heat and mash or blend (this will be a wet paste). Set aside

In a large bowl mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, Slimdown Smoothie Mix

and vanilla bean.

In another bowl beat together apple sauce, apple cider vinegar, coconut oil, mashed date

mixture and the remaining ¾ c water together until well combined.

Pour the wet ingredient mixture into the dry mixture and fold until just combined. If the

mixture is too dry add in some more water.

Fold in the chopped mixed berries.

Spoon in to the muffin tin (making 8 muffins)

Bake for 20-25 minutes.

Leave to cool for 5 minutes before removing and allowing to cool further on a cooling

rack.

Once cooled sprinkle with a little bit of cinnamon

No Added Sugar Apple Sauce

Q. How can I tell if an apple Sauce has no added sugar?

A. Look on the ingredients tab.

The ingredients should only contain Apples and water.

How to Buy No Added Sugar Apple Sauce

The easiest way to buy a No Added Sugar Apple Sauce is to look in baby

foods section for a Pureed Apple.

How to Make No Added Sugar Apple Sauce

To make 110 grams of apple sauce

Peel 2 apples and add to ¾ of a cup of water.

Boil until soft and blended.

Bliss Balls

Ingredients – 24 balls

2 scoops Slimdown Smoothie Mix

150 grams natural Almond Spread

120 grams Rolled Oats (to make an oat crumb)

2 Medjool Dates, chopped - remove pips

55 grams Superclean Chocolate

65 grams Dried Cranberries

50ml Water or (if you are using Raw Pea add an extra 125ml water)

125ml Milk (Dairy or Non Dairy)

Instructions 1. Place oats into a blender and blitz until it forms a course crumb (not a powder)

2. In a bowl mix your oat crumb, Slimdown Smoothie Mix, Superclean Chocolate,

cranberries and dates.

3. Add to the bowl the almond spread, water and milk until the mixture becomes

incorporated and starts to form a dense firm ball.

Note – if you are using Raw Pea add an extra 125ml water

4. Using your hands, roll mixture into small balls.

5. Place on a lined tin and refrigerate for 1-2 hours before eating.

Yummy Chocolate Cake

Yummy Chocolate Cake

Ingredients – 6 serves

1 ¼ cup Wholemeal Flour

1 teaspoon Baking Soda

½ teaspoon Salt

1 ¾ cup Water (3/4 cup of boiling dates, 1 cup for mixture)

1 Vanilla Bean

1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil

1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar

8 Medjool Dates

1 Apple

2 scoops / 60 grams Slimdown Smoothie Mix

¼ cup Superclean Chocolate

Instructions

Preheat oven to 180°C and line a square cake tin with baking paper.

Remove date pips and cut up into quarters. Boil dates in a pot with ¾ cup of water for 3-5

minutes (make sure there is still liquid with the dates)

Mash the dates in the water so they form a runny paste – there can be lumps it will add

texture to the cake. Peel and chop apple into very small thin pieces and allow to sit in the

hot date paste while you mix the rest of the ingredients. So that they soften slightly.

In a bowl mix together the wholemeal flour, baking soda, salt, vanilla bean, Superclean

Chocolate and Slimdown Smoothie Mix. Mix well removing any lumps.

To the date and apple mixture add melted coconut oil, apple cider vinegar and the

remaining cup of water.

Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients. If the mixture is too dry add more

water in small amounts.

Pour the mixture into your lined baking tin and spread out with a spatula.

Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until a knife or skewer comes out clean when put in

the cake.

Once cool Slice into 6 pieces.

¾ cup Rolled Oats

½ cup Dates

1 Carrot grated

Black Jolly Christmas Cake

Jolly Christmas Cake

Ingredients – 12 serves

200 grams Dates – pitted and chopped

160 grams Mixed Dried Fruit

2 1/4 cups Water

200 grams Rolled Oats

4 scoops (120 grams) Slimdown Smoothie Mix

1 heaped teaspoon Baking Soda

1 Tablespoon Honey or any other natural sweetener of choice

110 grams pure Apple Sauce – (make your own – see “No Added Sugar Apple Sauce”)

½ cup Chopped Walnuts

1 teaspoon Cinnamon

2 teaspoon Mixed Spice

Zest of a whole Orange

70ml of Fresh Orange Juice (use the juice from the orange you took the zest from)

12 Blanched Almonds

Instructions

Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius

Place chopped dates and dried fruit mix into a saucepan with the water and simmer on a

low heat for 15 minutes, or until softened (there should still be water left in the

saucepan).

Meanwhile place oats, chopped walnuts, Slimdown Smoothie Mix, cinnamon, mixed

spice, orange zest and apple sauce in a large bowl.

Once the fruit has softened, add baking soda to the pot and mix together. (this will cause

the liquid to foam up, so make sure your pot is big enough)

Pour the fruit and liquid over the rolled oats mixture.

Stir in the honey and orange juice.

Mix everything together until combined – if the mix is too dry or wet, simply add more

water or more oats.

Line a baking tin with baking paper and press the mixture into the tin.

Bake for approximately 20 - 25 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius until slightly golden on

top – be careful not to burn or over cook.

Leave to fully cool in the tin on a cooling rack before slicing into 12 pieces.

For an awesome Christmas Cake look add some blanched almonds on the top as

decoration.

Raw and Baked Clusters

Ingredients – 36 balls

2 Tablespoon (20g) Flax Meal or Linseed Meal and 8-10 Tablespoon Warm Water

1 ¾ cup (210 grams) Rolled Oats

50 grams Flour (if making RAW clusters you can leave out the flour)

1 2/3 scoops (50 grams) Slimdown Smoothie Mix

50 grams dried Cranberries (or Raisins/Cherries)

80 grams chopped Walnuts

2 teaspoon Cinnamon

¼ teaspoon Sea Salt (omit if you use salted nut butter)

100 grams Natural Peanut Butter (you could also use almond butter)

100 grams pure Maple Syrup (or agave nectar)

50mls Milk (dairy or plant based)

2 Tablespoon Dried Coconut (I used the MACRO brand shredded coconut)

Instructions Mix the flax meal with the warm water and set aside to “gel.” This is the vegan equivalent

of two eggs!

In a large bowl, mix oats, flour (leave out flour if making RAW clusters), Slimdown

Smoothie Mix, cranberries, walnuts, cinnamon, and sea salt.

In a separate smaller bowl, mix nut butter with maple syrup, then add the flax/water

mixture, which should now have gelled, and stir again.

Mix wet ingredients into dry.

Make into a dough and add milk and dried coconut to give it the right firm but doughy

texture

Roll into 36 balls and place in fridge to SET - about 2-4 hours is ideal

For Baked Clusters

Use raw cluster recipe

Preheat oven to 176°C degrees or 350°F

Place rolled balls on a tray with baking paper

Cook for about 16-18 mins - until golden brown and slightly crispy

3 balls to equal to ONE serve on the Response Mode mealplans

TIP: place 3 balls in sealed bags so they are easy to grab and go

Nutty Cake

Ingredients – 10 serves

220 grams Rolled Oats

220 grams pitted Dates – chopped

1 ½ scoops (45 grams) Slimdown Smoothie Mix

2 cups Water

1 heaped teaspoon Baking Soda

1 Tablespoon Honey

160 grams Trail Mix – (make your own 50 grams chopped almonds, 20 grams chopped

cashews, 20 grams sunflower seeds, 50 grams sultanas)

110 grams pure Apple Sauce – (make your own – see “No Added Sugar Apple Sauce”)

Instructions Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius

If using trail mix with large nuts in it. Run a knife thru the mix on a chopping board to

roughly chop up the nuts.

Place chopped dates into a saucepan with the water and simmer on a low heat for 15

minutes, or until softened (there should still be water left in the saucepan.

Meanwhile place oats, trail mix, Slimdown Smoothie Mix and apple sauce in a large bowl.

Pour the date liquid over the rolled oats and nut mixture.

Stir in the honey.

Mix everything together until combined – if the mix is too dry or wet, simply add more

water or more oats.

Line a baking tin with baking paper and press the mixture into the tin.

Bake for approximately 20 to 25 minutes until slightly golden on top – be careful not to

burn or over cook.

Leave to cool in the tray to harden before slicing into 10 bars.

Vix’s Skinny Banana Bread - makes 10 slices

Ingredients

2 cup Wholemeal Flour

½ teaspoon Baking Soda

2 teaspoon Baking Powder

3 scoops (90 grams) Slimdown Smoothie Mix

1 Vanilla Bean (or Pure Vanilla Bean Extract)

1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil

110 grams Apple Sauce (I use the HEINZ Baby Food Jars in the baby food

section of the supermarket – its PURE apple sauce and exactly 100g) or

make your own - see “No added Sugar Apple Sauce”)

100 grams Medjool Dates (pips removed)

1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar (this is ESSENTIAL)

350 grams Mashed Banana

1 ½ cups Water

2 teaspoon Cinnamon

Instructions

Preheat oven to 200°C and spray loaf pan

or make 10 muffins using a muffin pan

Remove date pips and chop dates into pieces.

Boil date pieces in ¾ cup water until they are soft (make sure you don’t boil away all the

water).

Once soft remove from the heat and mash or blend (this will be a wet paste). Set aside

In a large bowl mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, Slimdown Smoothie Mix and

vanilla bean.

In another bowl beat together apple sauce, apple cider vinegar, coconut oil, mashed banana,

mashed date mixture and the remaining ¾ cup water together until well combined.

If the mixture is too dry add in some more water.

Spoon in to the Loaf pan or muffin tin (making 10 muffins)

Bake for 25-30 minutes if using a loaf tin. – if making muffins check them after 20mins

Leave to cool for 5 minutes before removing and allowing to cool further on a cooling rack.

Once cooled sprinkle with a little bit of cinnamon .

TIP: Once Cool slice into 10 slices and place a small sheet of baking paper between each

slice before freezing. This helps them separate once

frozen..

My Method to Reheat: Microwave a slice for 60 seconds

then either pop into the toaster or on a pan – this makes it

very CAFÉ style as it makes the edges like a crunch cake

texture and soft in the middle…

Super Carrot Cake

Ingredients – 10 serves

2 cups Wholemeal Flour

1 teaspoon Baking Powder

1 teaspoon Baking Soda

¼ teaspoon Salt

150 grams Medjool Dates

1 teaspoon Allspice

1 cup Carrot – grated

½ cup Walnuts – roughly chopped

2 ¾ cups Water – may need extra water

4 scoops (120 grams) Slimdown Smoothie Mix

1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar

Instructions Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Line or grease a square 20 x 20cm baking tin.

Chop up the dates and remove the pips. In a saucepan mix together chopped dates, 1 ¼

cups water and allspice. Bring to the boil then simmer for 5 minutes.

Remove from heat then stir through the grated carrot and allow to cool. Set aside

Add the wet mixture to the flour mixture and stir to combine. Add a bit more water if the

batter is too dry.

Pour into your lined baking tin and bake for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Or

until you can run a knife or skewer through the center of the cake and it comes out clean.

Place on a cooling rack and allow to cool, once the cake has cooled remove from the

baking tin and cut into 10 slices.

Hi my name is Vix.

I am bit different to most “fitness gurus”.

I personally struggled to change my own body.
