Why Sky Sports 1?

• We have chosen Sky Sports 1 to broadcast our documentary for the reasons that Sky Sports is the most dominantly subscribed sports television in the UK and Ireland. As it the most subscribed therefore we know that it is going to generate a lot of views.

• The dominant gender that watches Sky Sports is male, also the average of people that watch Sky Sports is 15 – 65. Our target audience was always going to be male, however finding out there average viewing ages helped us decide what our target age would be.

• Originally we were going to broadcast our documentary on to Sky 1, however we feel it will be more appropriate broadcast on Sky Sports 1 as it will find a better suited audience to our documentary. Sky Sports 1 is such a high profile channel it will give us a good opportunity to be noticed and maybe air another documentary after this one.
