SKOWT is a free platform that focuses on unsigned artist worldwide.

SKOWT connects unsigned artists with two audiences – streaming music fans & A&/Licensing Managers.

SKOWT is like Tinder meets Pinterest – all the music on SKOWT platform is uploaded by unsigned artists from a very wide range of genres. It’s a free and fast paced introduction of new music to fans, which creates a chart, showing A&R/Licensing Managers & media platform owners which tracks most like/listened to.

Potential revenue streams :– • 2.5% one-off introduction fee when artist is signed up.• Advertising revenue.• Ticket sales from concerts - we aim to organise concerts featuring top 10 unsigned artist.• Future music download fee.

SKOWT’s true commercial value is in the rich user preference and behavioural database that we’re building.

Fans:• Fans input their music genre preferences and are presented with selected playlists to discover

fresh tracks by new artists.• If they like the track, they may listen to the track in full, or tap the “Like” button before the

track ends, then the next track loads.• If fans don't like a track, they swipe the track or tap the “Dislike” button and the next one

loads. • Throughout each week, Liked tracks will build into a top 10 chart which will be shared weekly

with Music & Licensing Managers who will be able to connect directly with the unsigned artist to discuss the potential working partnerships.

 Business:• Music & Licensing talent managers see SKOWT chart built by music fans.• Music & Licensing talent managers are notified with weekly updates and are able to connect

directly with the unsigned artist and to discuss the potential for working partnerships.• We are not only introducing new talent but also market testing it as the charts are based on the

fans’ preference.

• Phase 1 of platform build completed – final testing completed mid-April 2015

• In soft launch period, fixing bugs & running UAT.• Facebook & Twitter site set up. YouTube to launch.

• 8,404 visits with 8,116 Unique visitors to date – all organic with no media/acquisition spend to date.

• 79 registered artist to date. • 89 tracks uploaded.• 61 registered fans.

Next steps: -• Hit 300 artist sign-up target by 15th June 2015.• Raise funds for media spend.• Officially launch site mid-June 2015.• Launch app on ITunes July 2015.

A&R/Licensing Managers. If the records labels like an artist, they will get on touch with the artist to begin conversation.

We aim to give unsigned artists the opportunity to be recognised and potentially signed up by a record/licensing label.

We want fans to enjoy streaming new music for free & we want Music and Licensing managers to discover their next big talent.
