We’ll help you master key math concepts, and prepare you to be successful and earn good grades in math courses, including intermediate algebra and beyond.

Multiplying Opportunities for You to SucceedWhen you invest a few hours a day for just two weeks in a stimulating math environment, you’ll retain more math knowledge, remember math concepts and be better prepared to succeed in your math classes when Foothill Fall Quarter courses get under way. Our program is designed to boost your math confidence and brush up on your math skills so that you’ll be prepared to move on to the next level of math courses.

Add Value to Your Math Skills Set • Review and improve your math skills in this

free seminar.

• Prepare for the math placement test in an anxiety-free environment.

Program EligibilityYou’re eligible for our program if you:

• are a high school graduate and have not yet completed a math class at Foothill College;

• have taken Foothill’s math placement test and the results placed you in Math 235, 230, 220, 217, 108, 105 or NCBS 401A/B; and

• would like to refresh your math skills and place higher.

Save Time & MoneyThe first math class you take in college can impact the overall time it takes you to complete your degree, certificate or university transfer requirements. If you’ve taken a year off from math classes during your senior year or haven’t taken math classes beyond geometry or Algebra I, the Foothill College Summer Bridge Math Program is designed especially for you. We’ll help you improve your math skills so that you don’t spend time, money or energy taking classes you don’t need to complete your studies!

Summer Bridge Math Is Student-FriendlyEvery student is different, and math can be more of a challenge for some students. Many students arrive at Foothill and discover that they need to take several pre-algebra courses before they’re able to enroll in college-level math classes. Anxiety, low placement test scores, or poor preparation can all contribute to below-average math placements. The Summer Bridge Math Program allows us to work with you to improve your placement testing score.
