• Uniden is a Japanese manufacturer of wireless communications equipment and a pioneer of Citizens Band (CB)radios and cordless telephones

• The company was founded in 1966 and became a well-known brand by the 1970s via industry leading CB radios• By the 1980s, Uniden had become the world’s largest manufacturer of cordless telephones in additional to
