Gillingham FC to provide the education, registration and certification through their partnership with Bexley College (or other similar partner).
Sittingbourne FC to provide the Football element to the players.

Gillingham FC Community Trust act as the education arm of the program
Charitable status…autonomous from the Football Club
Proven success within further education, with current apprentices at the club
Agreements with Bexley College in place to deliver post 16 qualifications in Sport, from level 1 to level 3
Approved centre for the delivery of 1st 4 sport qualifications (coaching courses)

Deliver the education to the players at this venue. Provide resources for completion of assignments
Including Laptops (one per student)
Provide feedback to students and parents, 12 weekly on progress. Pay for all education tutors / assessors for all educational provision,
including coaching courses. Provide UCAS applications assistance. Provide US scholarship advice. Provide further coaching employment opportunities and advice. Provide support to Sittingbourne FC on any aspect they feel
necessary. Allow Sittingbourne to take complete control of implementing their
football philosophy into their player development program.

Provide the ‘football element’ at Woodstock Park
Develop you as players across the four corners…Technically, Tactically, Mentally and Physically
Provide a bespoke coaching program and physical development program
Provide game opportunities during the week as well as weekends
Provide a pathway to the first team
Team to play on Wednesday afternoons in KSFA Academies League

To gain entry onto the level 3 program, learners should have minimum of 5 GCSE’s at grade C or above including maths and English…
Entry subject to approval on football ability by Sittingbourne FC either through trials or other means.
Other qualification levels potentially available for those much less academic…apply and appropriate alternatives can be discussed on a one to one basis – we can be flexible and could probably accommodate.
Entry requirements BTEC Level 3 in Sport
The BTEC Level 3 course would include 12 units over 2 years, or 18 for
those students completing the Extended Diploma.

Course Detail
• Commitment to producing written work
• Some units lend themselves to practical elements, i.e. Sports Coaching
• A mixture of individual and group tasks
• A student led teaching strategy utilised to maximise learning
• Opportunities to research areas of interest
• Support on offer for those with learning difficulties or special requirements
• Functional skills delivery for those requiring assistance with Maths and English
• Regular feedback to learners and parents
Course Delivery
Depending on academic capability, students could come out with the following qualifications: BTEC Level 3 extended diploma in Sport science (equivalent
to 3 A levels)
Other vocational qualifications are potentially available as follows
Qualified to level 2 as an FA Football coach
First aid qualifications
