SIMS SANSTHAN: BIOGRAPHY With a view of providing quality

education in the state of Rajasthan, a

group of highly reputed and successful

professionals, businessmen and social

workers have formed anon government,

non religious, not for profit society namely

“SIMS Sansthan.”

The objective of SIMS is Simplifying,

Integrating, Motivating, and Serving. for

that purpose we are running a college

with name SUN Institute of Management

Studies (SIMS).The Society has been

registered under Rajasthan Govt.

Societies Registration Act, 1958 with

Registrar of societies.

The Society has also been registered

under section 12(A) of income Tax Act.

1961 and have Exemption under the Income Tax Act 1961 of section 80 G wide income Tax

Commissioner letter IT/UDR/JUDICAL/08-09/219.

VISION

To create a team of leaders with the necessary competencies to confront challenges and

enhance the quality of professionals engagement in industries of today and tomorrow.

MISSION

To stimulate, continuous and accelerate effort to maximize the contribution of the

Management sector to the economy of the country.

We are all the TEAM members of SIMS has very much happy to present our Annual report because, our TEAM is very young in this field but we are satisfied what we had done in a short period. Looking at the last year activities of our TEAM we had achieved remarkable success to create our own identity with novel ideas, and working style in the field of community development. And now we are very much confident to do our task with this approach in future also, we had get good supports from govt. agencies as well from other voluntary organization to achieve our goals and targets. as an young NGO we had started from grass root level and collected good human resources to implements workable ideas. This annual report attempts to convey various activities, achievements of the year 2010-2011(Running Year) and future strategy. We would like to thank all the well wishers who have not only helped in material terms but have been source great encouragement. ARUN MANDOT

OBJECTIVES Work for under privileged class to Enjoy Basic Needs, Fundamental Rights, and Dignity. Make people aware about their constitutional Rights. Work for youth group to give them Vocational Guidance and make them capable of getting jobs. Organize training for their capacity building. Make the people Educational and Economical Empowerment. Protection of Dalit Human Right, Women & child development with Women Empowerment Income-generation activities To stop violence against women and Social Equality, Liberty of thoughts & Expression, Empowerment of oppressed class by educational and Economical Development. Work for all round development of underprivileged class, protect their fundamental rights and give them justice.

A. EDUCATION WING

SIMS SANSTHAN is running

vocational and professional

qualifications programmes

for the community. The

objective of setting up this

institute is to meet the

growing demand for

professionals in the country.

SIMS started with few students but within a short period of time it has grown

much larger in all aspects. SIMS has organized many Extra Curricular Activities

which have created a lasting impact on all.

Now the institute has firmly established its roots and has also grow wings

producing world class managers, apart from giving impetus to management

education. The inst itute has evolved tremendously over the years and has

emerged as the premier institute for management education in the country.

The institute's building has modern state of the art facilities to seamlessly

integrate the classrooms with the extended learning environments.

The institute offers a multi dimensional rich

curriculum incorporating academics

industry internship live projects, industry

visit, culture enrichment, personality

development, English language labs,

seminars, workshops, management

games, quizzes, event management etc.

The endeavor is to prepare well rounded, mature and independently thinking

business manager capable of taking business decision for good

organizations.

The entire rang of curriculum inputs are

innovating, cutting edge and

continuously subject to change taking

place in business environment. The

courses are design to provide conceptual

and analytical skills essential for business

decision, making.

SIMS SANSTHAN IS AUTHORISED ASSESSING BODY FOR ICT (INFORMATION COMMUNICATION AND TECHNOLOGY) SECTOR IN RAJASTHAN GUJRAT AND MADHYA PRADESH, BY GOVERNMENT OF INDIA, MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT, DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF EMPLOMENT AND TRAINING.

COURSES

APPROVED BY NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training), and valid for SUBORDINATE POST in India and Abroad.

Skill development training programs are being organized by Sansthan under autonomous initiatives. This program is conducted with a group of 30 women and the total duration of the training was three month. Outcome of this training programe we found that this skill development programe gives new idea and skills in plenty culler trades for the women.

SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION EXAMS SIMS has organized on extensive programe for the students of all classes up to college level collaboration with Community (Rajasthan Gyan Jyoti Pratibhavan Pariksha). The overall purpose behind this to foreseeing the competitive mindset of school and college students. Outcome and Feedback SIMS is immense thankful to all educationalists and the team of Facilitators who give the community, an extensive new thought about the new generation pattern of scholarship exams. Decorative items & paper mashi training programe : In joint venture with Gyan e tech solutions private Limited , SIMS have give a unique training to 17 women under the “SPECIAL TRAINING CAMP”. Our thrust Area :- Women empowerment is the key arena of the organization that’s why we have put our main Emphasis on the livelihood creation for them. Stretching training camp: A stretching training camp is being organized by Sansthan. It was a camp of three months in which 25 needy women have participated. The Camp gives advantage to grow livelihood in stretching skills to the women of Sakroda Village of Udaipur District. The basic philosophy behind this is to nourish the hidden skills in the Rural women. Achievement:- After this attractive camp we found that rural women are having immense potential to grow in this economic era.

Violence against women : SIMS conducted 12 workshop in domestic violence against women in different areas. This is very common problem with women that they tolerate all hurdles and generally do not share their problem with community. Our Role :- Therefore we have tried to sought out their problems and teach them how to overcome from this problems. Medical camp: In the Existing year, the areas of Udaipur have been suffering from many diseases like Swine flue and fever. For solution of this problems SIMS has organized Two medical camps as depicted as under - One day medical camp organized in joint venture with Sun Foundation in A. Hiran Magri

Working With Child labour : Philosophy: We are really observing the difference and status between child getting education and the child suffering by labour , these child are living still in the black side of Humanity. Action :- We are in the process to regenerate awareness and making a positive environment for their family and society. SKILL DEVELOPMENT:- (ICT , Management , Vocational programmes) “You can empower yourself only when you step towards livelihood “ -Robert Kiyosoki Philanthropy with Unorganized Sector:- In joint venture of SUN FOUNDATION Skill Development camp held at Sun Campus Udaipur In these camps experienced resource persons share their knowledge and experiences on different Social Welfare topics. Besides that after completion of the camps candidates are awarded by certificates and attractive stipend of Rs. 75 per day for attending the camp Environment : Environment training camp organized at UMARDA in under OF GIRVA BLOCK and OGANA in under of JHADOL block. A competition held on people to awareness of environment through Awareness Campaign, Poster Competition and Slogan Competition.

Our question is why this indirect violence and harassment is happening ………………

Against child

In this economic era SIMS is working on the principles of the Robert Kiyosaki by providing Vocational skill development trainings to the Educated women. In this series SIMS has conducted a 15 days condensed vocational training program in association with SUN FOUNDATION , Udaipur. In this training 50 candidates have learned , Computer and Vocational Training Programmes.

Family counseling camp: A family counseling camp held at SIMS. Women registered her family problem. And solve the problem at the spot by sans than workers. Many family member came to our office directly than we take some necessary action to solve her problem. TOTAL CASES REGISTERD -4 COMPROMISED -03 DROP OUT -1 OTHER WOULD BE CONTINOES. International mahila divas: Sansthan celebrated international mahila divas with 50 women. Sansthan honored women who birth 1-2 baby. Social yojna awareness camp: sans than organized 12 awareness camp of social yojna like sahyog yojna,vishvas yojna,vradhavastha pension yojna, viklang pension yojna, vidhva pension yojna, vidhva beti vivah yojna, bpl yojna. Since there are no other educational facilities children are being taught in crèche. In five crèche units total 150 children are taking benefit every year. Due to this programme the poor people are taking benefit of education and taking further education.

Viklang jagrukta & swarojgar training camp: sanstahn held the training camp for viklang people to get the self improvement or self employed. Vermi compost training camp: A training session composed at Various types of villages for how to use this types of khad.

Seminars for Unorganized sector Women:-

We conduct various seminars whit the help of Community for Workers Education, SIMS Udaipur division for unorganized women groups and parents of child labours in various places. In the year 2010-2011 5 programmes were conducted and about 200 women have taken benefit. The financial help is provided through Community. Due to this programmes women’s are aware about their right and they learn how to develop their family.

HIV/AIDS Awareness programme:-

HIV/AIDS in India is serious public health problem. SIMS SANSTHAN has conducted awareness programmes on HIV/AIDS in Various slum of Udaipur where truckers, cleaners, Naka workers and unorganized Sector Employees are staying. To make them aware about HIV/AIDS and considering gravity of the disease we have conducted street plays, lecture, Displayed posters, Distributed leaflets etc. We have conducted 10 HIV/AIDS testing camps for most vulnerable community approx. 60 people have been tested. This HIV/AIDS programme is conducted with the help of WORLD VISION.
