INITIAL IDEA & SCRIPT

My initial idea was to create a reality TV programme based on E!’s hit reality American TV show ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’.

I thought about filming in my own house with cameras placed in all areas of the house to capture any drama and to convey the show as realistic.

AUDIENCE My primary audience is teenagers to

middle-aged adults. Secondary audience is the teenagers mum’s or the middle-aged adult’s family.

Uses & Gratifications: My primary audience would watch this programme purely because they think it’s interesting and because they like it.

I am currently giving out surveys to the public in order to find out my correct audience.

Audience Demographic: Social grade C and below may watch this.

PRACTICAL WORK

My intentions with camera angles/shots is to have various angles. Some being ECU, CU, VLS.

The location will be based at my house, my nans, outside my house and potentially the character’s hobbies and workplace.

CHARACTERS

The majority of the time there is 5 characters.

Some other characters may be introduced to the programme. E.g. if the characters were visiting family.

BLOG

The blog is to publish work based on reality TV and the findings I have made.

Research, planning and any ideas I have made will be featured on my blog.
