• High absorption silica are used in poured sticks and foundations to increase the viscosity of the bulk. This allows the reduction of other gellyfing agents and waxes that could have a negative impact on the texture.

• High-medium absorption silica can help to reduce “sweating “ and “cracking” in poured products and sticks.

• Low absorption silica are used in loose and pressed powders to increase the resistance to drop test and lower binder amount is generally required.
