Skill Development : According to the results of the survey,organizations adapting inclusive human capital strategies tend tohave a more engaged and motivated workforce. This in turn helpsin enhancing the overall performance and growth of the businessorganization.



Employees tend to be more productive when the peoplemanagement goals form an integral part of the corporate strategyas it helps in creating work environment where every employee isensured of an equal opportunity for advancement. In addition,such strategies also help in building trust amongst the workforcethat their leadership pipeline is healthy and well managed.



Performance Assessment : Accessing the performance of theworkforce plays a critical role in ensuring the sustained growth ofany business organization. According to the survey report, anincreasing number of organizations are adapting integrated talentreview and measurement programs as opposed to the departmentspecific strategies followed earlier.



This point towards the need for universal human capitalstrategies that can pave the way for identifying potential leadersirrespective of their roles and departments they have beenworking in. Given the significance of these programs, it is reallysurprising that only 55% of participants accepted the presence of astrong talent and review strategy while 25% said that theirorganization did not follow any such plan.

Employee Training : Irrespective of the skill set possessed byemployees, they need to gain a better understanding of the notonly the working of the organization but the role andresponsibilities they are expected to handle. Moreover, theconstant changes in market strategies and technology also requirethe workforce to regularly upgrade their skills. That is whyorganizations carrying out regular training and coaching sessionsfor their employees tend to have a better market growth..



According to the survey reports, the 33% of the top managersadmitted to the conduct coaching for new recruits while 23 % saidthat they conducted training for employees being assigned newpositions. 40 % of the participants accepted that they organizedtraining sessions to resolve any issues or weaknesses of theiremployees while 33% agreed to use training for ongoingdevelopment of the workforce. However, 40% also accepted thatthey did not have any training program in place for the workforce.
