v to promote the Parksville & District area as a unique opportunity to highlight the variety of stores and services our area has to offer;

v support & promote our local shops & businesses; v to generate business, in a focused manner, to both local residents and visitors alike; v to provide a unique connection & networking opportunity for local residents and

visitors from across Canada; v to market & promote our advertisers by increased traffic and visibility which will

help everyone to gain potential customers; v to help grow your business through association with other business owners; v to keep all of us knowledgeable on the latest trends in the retail industry; v to expand our businesses reach in our communities to outlying ones across Canada; v 2014 saw 28,000 visitors to our area – the Shopping Guide is your direct link to those

visitors – bring them directly to your door! v And, finally, remember to be helpful to others that you network with, always

reciprocate – we should view one another as colleagues, not as competitors.

Our goal is to inspire both local residents and visitors alike, to show exactly what we have to offer them in the Parksville and the surrounding areas. It is not only the fabulous

locations, accommodations and shopping that we offer, but it is the “whole experience”…the ambience of them feeling like a valued client – and making them want to

return again and again!

Design & Creative Charges Finished advertisements will need to be supplied as vector artwork. Any pictures must be in 300dpi (minimum). Creative charges apply if the “Shopping Guide Production Team” are to design and create the advertisement or if any changes are needed to be made to the artwork supplied. Note: all artwork is to go to: Lynda Schneider at [email protected]). Cost: $100 (for the ad, which includes 1 edit). Additional edits: $10. Distribution Shopping Guides are complimentary and will be distributed locally: in our Relocation Packages, with our Rack Card on BC Ferries, in the Welcome Wagon packages, at the Summer By The Sea Street Market and also electronically through issuu.com and the Parksville & District Chamber of Commerce Facebook.
